Hail fell, and taxes were reduced on about five hundred khal of barley. The temple of Zha Padma Wangchen was built. The Thigle Kor were divided into two types of transmission: written and oral. The written transmissions were hidden as treasures. In order to ensure that this oral transmission tradition would not decline, Sba Lodro Wangchuk of Phenyul was recognized as a fortunate one and given the transmission, as it could not be spread beyond a single lineage. He said, "Entrust it to a worthy vessel," and made a seal. He recognized Dromton Rinchen Barwa as a worthy vessel for the teachings and gave him the sealed transmission. He recognized Langma Lhunkyi Gyaltsen as the master of the teachings and gave him the transmission. Langma was prophesied by Damchen, and he extracted the treasure texts. He secretly kept the teachings for a year while searching for a vessel. Then, Che Tubpa Wangpo of Nyangre and Chetsun Senge Wangchuk, the son of Khyungmo Za Legma, developed faith and went to seek the Dharma. They met in the rugged mountain valley of Rigzar. Recognizing them as fortunate, he gave them seven different kinds of oral transmissions. Chetsun's Shongpa Repa was recognized as fortunate and was spoken to. He recognized Zaton Choebar as fortunate and was spoken to. He recognized Dampa Gyerton as the master of the teachings and was spoken to. He told Kyeme Jowo Kyab. He told Gyerton Jowo Me. These two, father and son, heard from Genyen Sherab Tsempo, so it is a close transmission. It is given to the relatives of Gyer. The distant transmission is done separately. Genyen went to U (Central Tibet, including Lhasa), met Rinpoche Yonten Gangpa, and recognized him as fortunate. He gave him all the teachings. On the way back, he left the texts and said, "You know all my teachings, so now go and do the work of benefiting beings." He broke the seal and entrusted the lineage, and he became known as Sangye Lagchang. Rinpoche said that Lama Namkha Dorje was fortunate and gave him the complete transmission. Lama Dampa Kumaraja requested it from him and received the introduction and the supporting teachings, including the initiation. Rinpoche said to Rinpoche's younger brother, Gelong, "Rinpoche said that this oral transmission teaching should be entrusted to Kumaraja," and he gave him the complete teaching initiation. Also, Rinpoche Yonten Gangpa gave it to Lama Tsezhing, and Lama Rinpoche requested it from him. Yon

Tengangpa taught Rinchen Senge. He passed it to Kalden Chokyi Sherab. He passed it to Lama Kumaradza. Again, in Nyangto Gar of Tsang (Tibet), Nima Lung, Lama Dampa requested it from the master Yeshe Gon, who was passed down from the great accomplished one. Having endured many hardships, he perfected the river of instructions. The great vidyadhara Kumaradza entrusted it to me, saying, "You will benefit sentient beings." And he also showed great satisfaction. This is passed down through the ears of individuals. Thus, from the primordial protector onwards, up to me, the yogi, there is no violation of samaya, no adulteration of instructions, no error in practice, no interruption in benefiting others, no reduction in the measure of liberation, and no break in the bridge of blessings. Therefore, this lineage is particularly superior to other lineages. Secondly, how to impart the essential instructions has three aspects: The qualities of the master who imparts the instructions are: outwardly, liberating the mindstream through study and reflection; inwardly, perfecting qualities through practice; and secretly, engaging in benefiting others through union. The qualities of the disciple to whom the instructions are imparted are: outwardly, having great faith, diligence, and wisdom; inwardly, having great devotion and generosity; and secretly, having great peace, gentleness, and compassion. How to impart the essential instructions is: outwardly, the instructions of sutra, tantra, and oral teachings are not spoken to those who are not vessels. Inwardly, the instructions of oral transmission and introduction are not recorded in writing. Secretly, the instructions of mind-to-mind transmission are not spoken indiscriminately. Thirdly, there are five aspects to the instructions for recognizing realization and liberation: Establishing the ground, path, and fruit; binding the key points with the six lamps; sealing it in self-arisen wisdom; fixing it with the five nails; and sealing it with the most important seal. The first has three aspects: explaining the ground in its own system, explaining the path as red guidance, and explaining the fruit as the way of liberation. The first has three aspects: the initial general ground, the ground of liberation of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), and the explanation of the ground of delusion of ignorant sentient beings. The first is that before awakening and becoming a Buddha, before being deluded and becoming a sentient being, the emptiness of the realm of phenomena is like the center of a clear sky. Clear and unmoving, like the depths of the ocean. Clear and unobstructed, like the surface of a clean mirror. In the expanse of dharmata, the essence is the root of the mind, the nature is self-nature, and the nature is great compassion.
