For the sake of stability, here, the experience of appearances is mainly discussed without actually showing the control of the path. Among them, the appearance of the expanse is that the five colors are like a rainbow. The appearance of the adornment of that expanse is that within the halo of five lights, it is like a lotus, and like an arrow, etc., appearing as the adornment of the palace and as hand symbols. The appearance of awareness is the string of bindus. The appearance of the adornment of that string of bindus is that bindus adorn the joints, and subtle bindus appear moving back and forth. In short, the appearances of the expanse and awareness are combined into two. The appearance of the expanse is the nature of appearing adorned with the arrangement of palaces, cushions, and thrones in the Buddha's realm. The appearance of awareness is that there, the arrangements of the deities abide in their respective natures of appearing. Increase is the vast increase of appearances, starting from initially separating from the space between the eyebrows, until it pervades the appearance of being illuminated by light like a region. Appearances are of two kinds, originating from the first appearance of the expanse, the appearance of five lights like spokes, and upward extensions, and the shape of spear tips, and the shape of patterns, and a thousand-petaled lotus, and stacked stupas, and a wisdom fortress, and like a net, and like a half-net, etc. The appearance of awareness, from bindus like fish eyes, and colors like peacock feathers, until those that appear between the size of a mirror, and the size of a wooden bowl, and the size of a rhinoceros hide shield. The appearance of awareness reaching its limit is that, after that, one also practices, and the appearance of the expanse reaches its limit, so that whatever is seen clearly appears as a realm of light, so the appearance of land, stones, and mountains disappears, and the five lights clearly appear as a surrounding palace, so in the appearance of the mandala, the appearance of awareness reaches its limit, and awareness matures into the body, and the bindus of the string of bindus naturally arrive at the mandala palace, and within each bindu, initially there are single images of the five families, and from that, they appear as the union of father and mother, and a gathering of retinues, so the complete appearance of the mandalas of Vairochana, and Akshobhya, and Ratnasambhava, and Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi pervades the sky. In short, awareness is, the awareness that is the basis, the essence is primordially pure The awareness that is the characteristic is the five wisdoms, that is, self-arisen perfection. The awareness of superior seeing is the vajra string of bindus. The appearance of objects

,Awareness is indistinguishable from emptiness. These are also when awareness is internally clear, at the base, awareness is essence, nature, and compassion. The essence of the awareness of the base is primordially pure. The five wisdoms of the awareness of characteristics are all from the self-radiance in which the essence is one. The self-radiance of spontaneously accomplished nature is the awareness of superior seeing, the Vajra Garland, and the self-radiance of all-pervasive compassion is the awareness of the appearance of objects, appearing indistinguishable from emptiness. Radiance is labeled as awareness because the name of the cause, awareness, is labeled on the effect, radiance, just as light is called the sun. The measure is that outer objects appear as wisdom, inner illusory body is liberated into clear light, and secret fivefold completion matures into the body. Arriving is being in a state free from practice, in a meaning that cannot be meditated upon, and arriving because the great wisdom that cannot be seen falls on top. Appearance is seeing the self-appearance of the Sambhogakaya, the path appearance, distinguishing it by eliminating the part of delusion from seeing the part of the base appearance, and abiding for a moment like the full moon on the fifteenth day. In general, however self-radiance arises from awareness, it is gathered into the three: base appearance, path appearance, and fruit appearance. First, self-radiance arises from the expanse, and arises from practicing the path, and arises in the bardo, and arises clearly outward from the spontaneously accomplished channel. Although all of these are one as the self-radiance of awareness, the distinction is made because, although the radiance of awareness arises, from the part of not knowing one's own face with defilements, when the radiance of awareness arises, it is placed as the base appearance, like the initial self-radiance and the self-radiance of the bardo. After the lama introduces the nature of awareness, ignorance is self-liberated by looking at the radiance, and by seeing the self-appearance of wisdom, the path appearance is established as the spontaneously accomplished realm. Without moving from dissolving and liberating into the expanse, the inner radiance appears outward, so the Sambhogakaya, the half-Nirmanakaya, and the Nirmanakaya that tames beings, etc., accomplish benefit and happiness, so it is called the appearance of the fruit. This is explained in passing. The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is like the moon gradually decreasing from the sixteenth to the empty sky and dissolving into the expanse. The previous signs pass away into the realm of non-arising and pass into nirvana, that is, after all the clinging to grasping and being grasped is exhausted, no essence is established, and the self-radiance dissolves inward. Other than this
