It is called "Contemplation." Then, focusing on the triple stack of green ཎམྱཊཎཌགྲཁྱཁྲཔྲཁྲདྲཁྱཁྲགྲདགྱམྱཨཀྱཎདཝགླདྲ, the subtle movements of memory and thought, like the wind, are purified. It is called the contemplation of the self-exhaustion of the supporting wind, a branch of the arising of the third dhyana. Then, focusing on the double stack of yellow अྸ, one is purified from the antidote that binds the memory. It is called the contemplation of the self-exhaustion of the base of memory, a branch of the arising of the fourth dhyana. Then, focusing on a single blue A, one is liberated from the defilements of grasping and clinging to thoughts, along with the aspect of abandoning the antidote. It is called the contemplation of the self-exhaustion of space, a branch of the arising of the formless realms and the non-conceptual wisdom of cessation. These instructions are from the gross conceptual thoughts onwards. The key point is to dissolve the grossness of the five elements and the clinging thoughts into the dharmadhatu until the memory is not purified in the dharmadhatu. First, focus the awareness on the A, and after a moment, remain inseparable from the state of going aimlessly, which is the experience. When practicing in this way, if the elements are disturbed or if dullness and agitation become dominant, it is said that one can overcome this by meditating on the three syllables in the three places and straightening the breath. However, in practice, when there is a fever, visualize cool, white bodhicitta descending from the Haṃ (ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Haṃ) of the Great Bliss Wheel, and the disease is gone. Exhale gently three times and then inhale. For coldness, visualize fire blazing from the Raṃ (རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Raṃ) of the navel's Emanation Wheel, burning it, and then close the mouth and inhale. For phlegm, it is similar, but especially visualize nectar descending from the Traṃ (ཏྲཱཾ,梵文天城体:त्रां,梵文罗马拟音:trāṃ,汉语字面意思:Traṃ) of the Enjoyment Wheel, and the disease is gone. Then exhale three times, inhaling a little each time. If the mind is agitated and restless, focus the mind and hold the breath on the blazing bliss-warmth from the Haṃ (ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Haṃ) of the Bliss-Protecting Wheel. If, when calm, samadhi does not arise no matter what you do, visualize the essence of the crown of the head descending from the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) of the Dharma Wheel, and then hold the breath. In this way, all diseases will be pacified, and samadhi will arise naturally. These are the key points. During this time, these letters should also be recited, and the Ha (ཧ,梵文天城体:ह,梵文罗马拟音:ha,汉语字面意思:Ha), Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), and A (ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A) should be recited many times as a method. If you meditate without knowing the key to the breath, wisdom will not arise quickly, and it will be slow and the fruit will be small, so it is important to meditate knowing the key.

Now is the second section of the teachings. The third general topic concerns the essential points of awareness, which are divided into the awareness of sound and the essential points of directly experiencing awareness. First, by experiencing sound, awareness genuinely arrives at the point of annihilation without any adulteration, therefore, the awareness of sound is directly shown with decisive clarity, and meditation is done through the sound of light that transcends. The first part is: When the energy of awareness-sound mixed with wind arises in the mind, one should engage in the practice of view, meditation, action, and fruition. First, the view is to ascertain the essence of self-arisen wisdom, awareness-emptiness, and the dharmakaya, without relying too much on the Buddha above, and without doubting samsara below. By knowing that samsara and nirvana are the nature of the mind, whatever awareness arises, when awareness intensifies, there is no abandoning, adopting, good, or bad, and one should confidently settle in the great original liberation, which is entrusting oneself to oneself, and settling on a single point. From the perspective of not having good or bad, one drives the peg of wisdom-emptiness between samsara and nirvana, like grass meeting fire. Because of the arising of biased appearances such as existence and non-existence, one drives the peg of view-liberation between permanence and annihilation, like mirrors meeting. Because all dharmas are recognized as originally not liberated, but as original Buddhas, whatever arises becomes dharmata, like reaching the peak of a mountain and seeing the low valleys. This is called the intention of the mountain king's abiding. Second, meditation is self-liberation, maintaining the original state, appearances and mind liberating in a single decisive cut, the many becoming great equal taste. Whatever arises, whatever appears, one takes its essence as meditation, abiding without any modification, expectation, or doubt at the point of arising, and when one becomes one in a state without sinking, excitement, or distraction, from the perspective of appearances and appearances liberating into clear seeing, one drives the peg of the self-purifying lamp between object and mind, like raising a lamp in a dark cave. In a state without sinking, excitement, or distraction, from the perspective of the five senses meeting and liberating, one drives the peg of the self-arisen five senses between sinking and excitement, like a single child meeting its mother. Whatever arises mixes into equal taste, mind and matter liberate in non-duality, thoughts and concepts dissolve into the ground, like the intention of the ocean's abiding, like the ocean not being stirred by the wind, one should abide in this day and night. Third, action is to train in the arising of liberation meeting without discrimination, whatever acceptance and rejection and hope
