Now, practicing is the path; its culmination is the result. Such arising itself, without contrivance, spontaneously accomplished, is the wisdom of accomplished action. For the sake of that very meaning, there is no need for asceticism for many eons, so practicing all at once is the path; its culmination is the result. All of that is primordial emptiness, the wisdom of the dharmadhatu, free from roots. Within that state, being free from practice and non-practice is the path; its culmination is the result. Furthermore, it abides in the five families, as it says in the "Self-Arisen": "The Tathagata family and, the Vajra and Ratna families, the Padma family and the Karma family." Therefore, the great luminosity of emptiness is the path of all Buddhas, it is the Tathagata family. Because it is immutable, it is the Vajra family. Because qualities arise, it is the Ratna family. Because it is unstained by faults, it is the Padma family. If one becomes accustomed to that, then without remainder, it is accomplished, so it is the Karma family, these are the four. Becoming accustomed to that is the path; its culmination is the result. Furthermore, it abides in the five lights, as it says in the "Klong gsal": "The qualities of awareness are clear as five lights." Therefore, the luminosity is stainless white, because qualities are complete, it is yellow, because it is unsearched and abiding, it is red, because the ability of action is complete, it is green, because it is unchanging and stable, it is blue, these are the four lights. Abiding within that state is the path; its culmination is the result. Furthermore, it abides in the five winds, as it says in the "Self-Arisen": "Awareness is the nature of the five winds, it abides in all sentient beings." Therefore, this appearance of luminosity is inseparable from the warmth of wisdom, so it is the wind equal to fire. Because it is the life of samsara and nirvana, it is the life-sustaining wind, because it separates the pure and impure, it is the wind that separates the pure and impure. Because it pervades all, it is the pervasive wind. Because it cuts the life of samsara and sends it to the place of nirvana, it is without compassion, it is the wind of karma at the end of the eon, these are the four winds. Becoming accustomed to that is the path; its culmination is the result. If one realizes this luminosity, then it is nirvana. If one does not realize it, then it is the life-sustaining force of samsara. By becoming well-accustomed to that, one separates samsara and the pure and impure. All pure and impure is pervaded by the five lights. Furthermore, it abides in the five wisdoms, as it says in the previous one: "That also, the essence of awareness, is endowed with five kinds of wisdom." Therefore, this luminosity, because it separates samsara and nirvana from realization and non-realization, it is the wisdom of separation. Because it gathers into wisdom, it is the wisdom of gathering. Because it pervades all, it is the wisdom of pervasion. Because the clarity is with coming and going, it is the moving

Wisdom. If one realizes it, one is liberated from samsara, therefore the wisdom of liberation is the basis. Habituation to it is the path. Ultimate completion is the fruit. It also abides in the five dakinis. As it says in "Vast Clarity": The wisdom of empty-clear awareness abides in the five forms of dakinis. Therefore, through the blue light, one sees the face of the Buddha dakini, and the affliction of ignorance is purified, touching the wisdom of the dharmadhatu. Similarly, through the white light, one sees the Vajra dakini, and hatred is purified, touching mirror-like wisdom. Through the yellow light, one sees the Ratna dakini, and pride is purified, touching equanimity wisdom. Through the red light, one sees the Padma dakini, and desire is purified, touching discriminating wisdom. Through the green light, one touches accomplishing wisdom, and sees the Karma dakini, and jealousy is purified as the basis. Habituation to them is the path, and ultimate completion is the fruit. In short, the empty-clear unconditioned dharmadhatu is wisdom, primordial purity is completely pure, obtaining the self-luminous nature of awareness, appearing as the spontaneously present essence, appearing as emptiness inseparable from appearance. As it says in "Adornment of Jewels": The nature of the dharmadhatu is the wisdom body, the nature of awareness is the skillful means body, abiding in a state of inseparability. Thus, the appearance is not a worldly conditioned and perishable phenomenon, as it says in "Prasangika": The nature of awareness is a continuous stream, in the past, future, and present, it is not made by anyone, therefore it is unconditioned. The nature of the continuous stream, because all conceptual thoughts are purified, is the non-mistaken ground Buddha. For the fortunate one who has the opportunity to be directly shown, there is no name for the three realms of samsara, therefore the life-force of the three existences is severed. The clear light that appears in this way is not like the illusion of worldly appearances, as it says in "Lamp Illuminating": The various appearances that arise in this way are not produced by making and habituation, but are originally present in the ground. Thus, the yogi who has confidence does not have a mind of joy because of the appearance, the way of abiding is originally like that. For the appearance of awareness and the lamp, the enemies of the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind cannot destroy it. A person who has not received instruction, even if they look with a clear mirror or clear eyes, will not be able to see it. Through the ultimate of tenets and view and meditation, even if one examines it, one will not find it. Fortune and power.
