The one with the essence of the Buddha's heart. As it says in "Vast Clarity," 'The initial awareness is the five wisdoms, which arise from the delusion of ignorance. Therefore, this body is the actual Buddha, the very source of great wisdom. All sentient beings have neither good nor bad; the essence of the Sugata pervades all beings, just as oil pervades sesame seeds. When ignorance is liberated, the body composed of the elements reverts to the state of unexcelled wisdom.' In this way, the primordial protector, unchanging light, dwells within the hearts of all sentient beings, and one must be certain of this. There are three aspects to this: briefly showing the way in which essence, nature, and compassion dwell; elaborately explaining the way in which they dwell through the distinction between mind and wisdom; and summarizing the meaning by way of how it serves as the basis for samsara and nirvana. The first is from "String of Pearls": 'Although many ways of abiding are taught, there are only three kinds of wisdom.' And as it says in "Lamp Ornamentation," 'Within the hearts of all sentient beings dwells the primordial protector, unchanging light, the three kayas and three wisdoms themselves, spontaneously present from the very beginning.' Thus, within the heart, relying on a bindu the size of a mustard seed as a support, the primordial protector, unchanging light, whose essence is empty from the beginning, in the state of original purity, the dharmakaya, whose nature is clear as light, the sambhogakaya, within the sheath of wisdom's rays, the nirmanakaya, with the essence of compassion and awareness, from the omniscient wisdom, as the unobstructed basis for the rays of all-knowing, the ground-of-being wisdom, transformed into the life-force, the four winds and the support for the five wisdoms, from the radiance abiding like a lamp within a vase, the various appearances of mind and clear light appear. As it says in "Vast Clarity," 'From the power of awareness arise three wisdoms: the wisdom of essence emptiness, the wisdom of nature clarity, and the wisdom of compassion all-pervading.' And as it says in "Subtle Ornamentation," 'Wisdom abiding in its own essence is indivisible in the manner of three.' Thus, in the heart, the radiance of wisdom abiding is clear in the conch house, and the rays of both of these abide in the channels in the form of bindu lamps, like a string of beads. The second is the way in which the heart-essence wisdom abides, and the way in which its radiance, the mind, abides, these two

Among the three ways of how they meet and separate, first, the essence of the three lights is explained in detail. The nature of the three, outer, inner, and secret, is explained in detail. The compassion of the three kayas, wind, consciousness, is explained in detail, there are three. The first is from Longsal: "From the essence of primordial purity, there is the light of the Dharmakaya, which is without object. There is the light of the Sambhogakaya, which is spontaneously perfect from the beginning. Because it pervades all, there is the light of the Nirmanakaya." Therefore, the essence is primordially pure by its very nature, like the immaculate sky, empty and clear, uncompounded. Because nothing is established in it, there is no elaboration or characteristics, it is the peaceful Dharmakaya, primordial emptiness, without root. Such a great meaning of ultimate liberation is not made by anyone, but is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, therefore it is the Sambhogakaya of unborn Dharmata, the great unobstructed one pervades all appearances and existence, samsara and nirvana. All appearances and existence, samsara and nirvana are also the Dharmata of primordial liberation and emptiness. It does not go beyond the intention of the three times without change, that is the Nirmanakaya of unborn spontaneous perfection, the great pervasive one. Thus, the Dharmata that is unborn from the beginning, primordial emptiness, is separated from the root. The great state of unmade spontaneous perfection is abiding as the essence of all dharmas, therefore, in the essence of awareness and wisdom, it is also emptiness, free from elaboration. That is the intention. The second is from Longsal: "The awareness that abides in the body, outwardly appears as the nature of peaceful and wrathful, inwardly as Dakis, father and mother, secretly as the nature of letters, and most secretly as the single Bindu." Therefore, outwardly, it is the way the peaceful and wrathful mandala abides in connection with the body. Inwardly, it is the way the wisdom Dakinis are accomplished in the form of letters in the five chakras in connection with speech. Secretly, it is the way there is a Bindu of light and clarity, free from elaboration, in the heart in connection with mind. Among these three ways, the first is where it abides, how the mandala of light is accomplished there, and the explanation of the example of this abiding, there are three. The first is from Norbu Trakö: "The precious eight-cornered palace, the palace of the moving channels, the palace of the conch shell Bhanda, the palace of the watching eye. These four great palaces are the great secret place of all secret mantras." And from Thalgyur: "Within the general and citta channels, abides the unmade pure Dharmata."
