The exhaustion of appearances is the pure land. As it is said, first, visualize the union of the guru father and mother in the center of the thigle and rigpa, and then visualize four pairs of guru fathers and mothers in the four directions. At this time, the illusion of the external world is liberated into the pure land, and the palace of the Sambhogakaya Buddha of Ogmin (Tibetan: འོག་མིན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ogmin, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ogmin, Chinese literal meaning: without lower) is spontaneously accomplished. The inner illusory body is liberated into luminosity, and the four elements composed of flesh and blood disappear, naturally liberating from the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death in samsara. The secret is that the wind-mind is emptiness, and the habitual tendencies of disturbing thoughts and concepts dissolve into the Dharmadhatu. Also, because of the purification of the body of flesh and blood, the peaceful mandala in the heart naturally appears in the sky. The fourth is the appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata. As mentioned earlier, the appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata is that from the emptiness of the experience, the body is exhausted, and the objects of the senses do not exist, liberated from the illusion of conceptual thoughts, and separated from the words of what is said. As it is said, the experience of holding onto inner and outer appearances and conceptual thoughts are exhausted, and in the light, nothing is visible except for the outstretched fingers, and the concepts of samsara and nirvana disappear, and appearances do not establish anything. At that time, there is no appearance of the six realms of beings and the sun and moon. Because there is no illusion of grasping and being grasped, the intention of the Dharmakaya's self-purification reaches the exhaustion of Dharmata. Then, like a fog or cloud dissipating, the body does not appear, and it is naturally liberated into the original, primordial purity like the nature of space. The third is the instruction of the dying moment. From "Vast Expanse of Clarity," it says, "There are four instructions for the dying moment, and there is nothing higher than this." Also, from "Thal Gyur," it says, "For this, have faith in the dying moment, and by establishing the foundation on the three unmoving ones, the wind-mind reaches the key point. By measuring with the three abidings, the inversion of dreams and body, speech, and mind, the signs and measures are definitely grasped. By nailing down with the three attainments, the contaminated body does not appear." Also, from "Muti Trengwa," it says, "The measure is the yoga of the four cushions." As it is said, first, establish the foundation on the three unmoving ones, the body does not move, and learn the three postures. The eyes do not move, and learn the three ways of seeing. The wind-mind does not move, and learn to be slow in any way. Second, measure with the three abidings, become accustomed to the Dharmadhatu awareness, the breath that moves the external appearances is exhausted, and there is no coming and going in the Dharmadhatu awareness.

And abide. When the wind that moves the inner organs is exhausted, the body remains motionless. When the wind that transforms secret thoughts is exhausted, it is impossible for conceptual thoughts to change, and one abides. At this time, the object of dreams appears, as well as the signs that appear in the three aspects of body, speech, and mind. Among these, for those with superior diligence, dreams dissolve into the dharma realm; for those with medium diligence, luminosity appears; for those with inferior diligence, dreams are grasped. There are twelve signs that appear in the three aspects of body, speech, and mind. The first is the three signs of the manifestation of reality: the body remains motionless, like a turtle placed in its shell; speech is like a mute person, unwilling to speak; the mind is like a dakini seizing Snila, conceptual thoughts abide in concentration. The three signs of increasing experience: the body is like a person afflicted by illness, without adornment or cleansing, free from the conceptual thoughts of shame; speech is like the self-talk of a madman, speaking meaningless words; the mind is like being seized by poison, not regressing in the three realms. The three signs of the culmination of awareness: the body is like an elephant stuck in the mud, the elements are unobstructed; speech is like the infant in a clay pot, pleasing to others and beneficial; the mind is like a healed measles patient, certain not to regress in the three realms. The three signs of the exhaustion of reality: the body is like a corpse in a charnel ground, not afraid even when surrounded by five hundred executioners, without fear; speech is like an echo in a valley, imitating others; the mind is like a mist in space, disappearing in an instant and attaining enlightenment. Third, nailing down with the three attainments: at this time, one obtains autonomy over birth. If one wishes to benefit sentient beings, one focuses on and looks at one's own fingers, and all appearances will return on their own. Sometimes the body will move and sounds will be heard, and one will benefit sentient beings with a body that is like the moon in water. That is, by placing awareness into sentient beings, one attains enlightenment; by placing awareness into inanimate objects, one causes them to move and make sounds; by placing awareness into dying sentient beings, one liberates them in the bardo. Obtaining autonomy over entering: by focusing awareness on the fingers and maintaining one's own state, one attains enlightenment there without appearing. Obtaining autonomy over wind and mind: one obtains unobstructed clairvoyance and is able to display various miracles. Fourth, the four certainties: upwards is the jewel.
