Since there is no place of birth or birth-giver in other places either, it is concluded that the mind does not arise in the beginning, the Dharmakaya, the Great Perfection beyond thought, knows the end of the beginning. The observation of the middle dwelling place and the dweller is also the same as this. By examining the nature of the six objects, it is pure like the baseless sky, and there is no place to dwell. By examining the mind of the dweller himself, since color, shape, essence, and identification are not found, the nature of the grasping consciousness is not found. When the delusion of the grasping mind is empty, in the mind-essence without a dwelling place, the Sambhogakaya, the Great Perfection of luminosity and purity free from foundation, knows the intention of the self-occurring nature of reality. Finally, by examining the place of going and the goer, the mind that arises on the object is not established. Since it is not born in the beginning, it does not dwell in the middle. Since there is no cessation in non-dwelling, the nature of reality is free from the three: arising, ceasing, and dwelling. By repeatedly practicing in the great equality of the undifferentiated arising and dwelling, it is decided that the Rig-emptiness is self-liberated, the Nirmanakaya. One feels at ease in the vast and boundless Great Perfection of equality. Thus, doing the preliminary practices of the mind has three purposes. Commonly, it pacifies the sins of the mind, manifests the arising of qualities, and reverses attachment. Especially, one will not fall into samsara later, and will be liberated in the Dharmakaya, and ultimately pass into nirvana in the realm of the Vajra-heart. The fourth is to settle down. On a comfortable bed, the body is motionless, the speech is speechless, and the mind is free from thoughts and concepts. Relax and let go, and sleep naturally. There are three purposes. Commonly, the channels and energies are balanced, the elements are not disturbed, and there is no disease. Especially, Samadhi arises naturally, and the body and mind are naturally comfortable. Ultimately, the clinging of the three doors goes into self-liberation. The second meaning is to truly show the self-face of awareness, and to directly see the clear light Dharmakaya. To integrate the originally pure Dharma into the Ground of Trekchö, and to combine the spontaneously present clear light into the Path of Tögal, there are two ways to introduce it. First, the introduction to Trekchö, the practice, and the arising, there are three. First, arrange the Tsok offering and Torma, after praying to the lineage, both the master and the disciples relax their minds, clarify their awareness, and introduce the self-face in the way of Saleye Yere. Hey! Fortunate one, this present awareness, self-luminous and naked...

Look! Do not be distracted by discursive thoughts, do not cling to one point, do not be defiled by acceptance and rejection, and hope and fear. In clarity, there is no clinging; in purity, there is no inside or outside; in vastness, there is no scattering; in natural purity, there is no grasping; in transparency, there is no obstruction. This very natural, unadulterated state is the self-luminous nature of mind. Recognize the unchanging nature of the Dharmakaya, and cultivate the great state of self-purity and non-attachment! The stainless, pure Buddha is the self-aware, unchanging Dharmakaya. Clear and bright, like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide like an unchangeable, stable mountain, abide like an unmoving, clear ocean, abide like a sky without width or narrowness. Whatever state you are in, maintain the state of awareness. Whatever arises, maintain the radiance of awareness. After arising, increase in self-aware purity. Just as birds, no matter where they fly, do not leave the sky, so awareness and all phenomena should abide in a self-luminous, unwavering state. Thus it is taught. Secondly, training in strength. Training in strength in the state of self-abiding meditation, and training in strength in the play of self-pure wisdom. First, it is divided into recognizing self-abiding meditation, and teaching the method of integrating meditation and post-meditation. First, sit in the lotus position, and with unmoving eyes, look slightly downward. When the mind is clear and without discursive thoughts, look straight ahead, and the previous clarity of non-discursive thought will also disappear. Without the arising of discursive thoughts of feeling and the clinging of memory, self-luminous, vast awareness will arise as a single basis. Know that this is the self-abiding meditation of awareness. Having recognized this, whether the mind abides or scatters, whether there is refutation or establishment, whether there are afflictions or abiding in non-discursive samadhi, at any time, greatly apply yourself to self-aware nature, and the non-clinging, self-abiding meditation will clearly arise. Without making any changes, this is the spontaneously accomplished meditation, like a river. If you do not recognize this, then meditation based on occasional causes will not be able to cope with causes, and there will be the fault of not recognizing the bardo meditation. This is also mentioned in the Six Spaces: The meditation of abiding in nature, and the rest of the roots, winds, and mind, are similar, similar, truly a treasure!
