The guru says: Hum, the aggregate of consciousness is completely pure, subduing the affliction of ignorance, with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, bestow the glorious mind empowerment. Visualize being crowned with a diadem. Hūṃ! May the aggregate of feeling be purified, and may it purify the affliction of pride. By the wisdom of equality, grant the glorious empowerment of qualities. Oṃ Ratna Abhiṣiñca Trāṃ(Tibetan, Devanagari: त्राम्, Romanized Sanskrit: trāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Zham)! O son of the lineage, merely by bestowing this diadem upon you, the obscurations of body, speech, and mind will be purified, and you will obtain the empowerment of the qualities of all buddhas. May the aggregate of feeling be enlightened as Ratnasambhava, and may the element of earth be purified as the Buddha Eye, and may pride be liberated as the wisdom of equality. Having obtained all the qualities of the Ratna family of buddhas, may you attain omniscience and benefit beings. Thus it is said. O son of the lineage, merely by entrusting this bell to you, all the obscurations of body, speech, and mind will be purified, and you will obtain the empowerment of the activity of all buddhas. May the aggregate of formation be enlightened as Amoghasiddhi, and may the element of wind be purified as the Samaya Tara. May jealousy be liberated as the wisdom of accomplishing activities. Having obtained the unobstructed activity of Amoghasiddhi, may you accomplish and benefit beings. Thus it is said. Empowerment of Samantabhadra: Visualize the disciple as Samantabhadra, holding a blue vajra and bell. The guru holds the vajra and bell. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Method and wisdom are inseparable, appearance and emptiness are inseparable, this pair is the essence of emptiness and compassion. Samantabhadra Vajradhara, please guide all beings. O son of the lineage, merely by entrusting this vajra and bell to you, the seed of omniscience will be sown, and you will obtain the empowerment of the nature of the body, speech, and mind of all buddhas, the power of the awareness of Samantabhadra.
