There is no finding or arising. Understand the non-dual Madhyamaka, free from extremes, as the self-liberated Dharmakaya. Furthermore, it is said: "Ema, son of noble family, for you, the mind that arises with acceptance and rejection upon contact, whatever dualistic grasping arises in that, the appearance is clear, but the nature is empty. The essence is without essence, and without foundation. From the beginning, it is the empty and luminous Dharmakaya." Furthermore, it is said: "Alas, son of noble family, look inward at your own mind. Even if acceptance, rejection, happiness, or suffering arises, the appearance is clear, but the essence is awareness and emptiness, like the moon in water." Furthermore, it is said: "Alas, son of noble family, whatever various afflictions arise, they are like reflections in a mirror. They appear in the mind, but there is nothing to grasp. Afflictions are without foundation, without root, without color or shape, without anything to grasp. From the beginning, they are the unborn Dharmakaya. The nature of afflictive thoughts arises from the mind and dissolves into the mind. Arising and liberation are simultaneous, like waves. All subtle and coarse minds and thoughts are primordially empty, without foundation, without root. When the flaw of thought is realized in this way, there is no need for an antidote, and liberation occurs without acceptance or rejection." Thus it is said, clarifying the essence of the suchness of reality. Afterwards, the lama again said: "Ema, son of fortunate family, having received the empowerment of the empty and luminous Dharmakaya, what needs to be purified by that is the negativities and obscurations of body, speech, and mind. The power of all three reaches its limit. What needs to be stabilized is being free from accepting and rejecting happiness and suffering. Afterwards, the key is to meditate without separation. The ground is the eleven grounds, all-illuminating. The four activities manifest. The result is the spontaneous accomplishment of the five kayas." Thus it is said. Offering the mandala, "From this day forward, with my body and all possessions, I offer to you, glorious lama. Please take me under your care." With this, offering thanks, he pleased the assembled ones with the joy of the feast. "Whatever is incomplete or diminished, and whatever I have done or given with a deluded mind, may the protector forgive all of that. May I and all sentient beings, without exception, in the mandala of Samantabhadra, the victorious one, all spontaneously accomplish everything simultaneously, and may we be equal to the Sugatas." Thus, may the actual objects and paintings, etc., become stable and not depart. The deities of the lotus, etc.

As for us guests, Om, may you accomplish all the aims of sentient beings, bestow the attainments that are in accordance. Even after going to the Buddha-field, please come again. Om Vajra Muh: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is the departure of the wise one. Dza Hum Bam Hoh: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) May the samaya being dissolve into me, think like that. Om Ah Hum: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Protect body, speech, and mind, the remaining torma, vajra song, and auspicious words should be spoken. This Dharma principle is like a deep and vast ocean cloud, it is the accomplisher of the fortune of fortunate beings. Here, on the lotus of light in the heart, the rays of the Tathagata's sun shine, the petals of love and compassion fully bloom, in the sustenance and enjoyment of the faithful six-legged ones, the lotus activity is well arranged with skillful artistry. By this virtue, may I and all beings, reside in the supreme mandala of the Victorious Ones, with body and wisdom inseparable, may the two benefits for beings be spontaneously accomplished. When autumn flowers ripen into fruit, at the neck of the snow mountain white peak precious heart, in the secluded and delightful place on the holy mountain slope, the lotus expanse is fully blooming, may the gods, sages, ocean of dakinis, and those who are wise and enjoy honey be delighted. This is called "Self-Entry Lotus Expanse," written by the yogi Vimalamitra, blessed by the great master of Oddiyana, Padmasambhava and his consort, at the sacred place of Ugyen Dzong at the neck of the snow mountain white peak, at the time when autumn flowers and fruits ripen. May the rain of great bliss fall in all directions and times, abiding as in the age of the perfect eon. Auspicious! From the ancestral heritage, the collected works of Longchen Rabjam, (6) Self-Entry Lotus Expanse.
