As a symbol of the lamp of my arising, behold and rest in these clear light appearances. This is the very appearance of awareness, self-luminous, appearing as emptiness, without grasping. Furthermore, as a symbol of essence, it is unborn and free from elaboration; as a symbol of nature, it is the clear appearance of various lights; as a symbol of compassion, it is the appearance of awareness as clear emptiness. Just these, know that the primordial protector, Kuntu Zangpo (Samantabhadra), the unchanging light, dwells in the center of your heart, in the state of the three kayas inseparable. Furthermore, in "Vast Expanse of Clarity" it says: "Awareness, the vajra chain, merely seeing is knowing, merely knowing is realizing, merely realizing is liberation." And in "Cutting Through" it says: "The key point of one's own nature, not by words expressed, in the realm of the senses, clear appearance, is the naked seeing liberation itself." As it is said. Here, if you want to introduce the five wisdoms and seven aggregates, you should understand as it appears in the "Golden Rosary." In short, the uncompounded emptiness and clarity of space is the essence of wisdom, the meaning of "trekchö" (khregs chod) that is pure from the beginning. The clear light appearance of the nature of awareness is the essence of spontaneous accomplishment of skillful means, the inseparable union of appearance and emptiness. As it says in "Adornment of Jewels": "The nature of space is the wisdom kaya, the nature of awareness is the skillful means kaya, abiding in a state of inseparability." And, that appearance is not the nature of the destructive dharma of relative appearance, but the ultimate uncompounded, the unchanging state of reality itself. Furthermore, in "Cutting Through" it says: "The essence of awareness is the vajra chain, past, future, and present, not made by anyone, therefore it is uncompounded itself, is the nature of the vajra chain. All conceptual thoughts are purified, is the Buddha of the unerring ground. For the fortunate one who relies on direct perception, there is no name for the three realms of samsara, therefore one discerns the three existences." And, in "Lamp Illuminating" it says: "Thus, various appearances, not arising from making and meditating, but from the beginning abiding in the ground." As it is said. Therefore, from the beginning, unmade, self-arisen, self-appearing, the three kayas inseparable, the mandala of clear light is seen face to face, so strive in meditation. Thus it is said. Two, joy increas

The arising is: Oh! Son of lineage! Seeing in this way is the self-born awareness, the single bindu, called the appearance of the manifest reality of dharmata. It is said to be the face-to-face meeting of all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Lamas, Yidams, and Dakinis. It is said to be the manifestation of the three kayas and five wisdoms. It is said that all karma, imprints, sins, obscurations, and ignorance are purified. It is said that afflictions arise as dharmata. It is said to be endowed with karma and fortune. It is said to be the completion of the accumulation of merit. It is said to be receiving the empowerment of all Buddhas at once. It is said to be receiving the empowerment of the power of awareness. From this day forward, there is not even a particle of difference between you and Buddha Samantabhadra, the Buddhas of the five families. Thus, praise is spoken and joy is generated. Third, practicing with the four yogas, there are four: view, meditation, conduct, and result. The first is: The essence of clear light is emptiness, the nature is luminosity, and compassion arises without interruption, which is the view of co-emergence. These appearances and samsara appear in various ways, realizing that these appearances are without nature, like a moon in water, which is the view of subsequent attainment. The second is: Without moving from that view, in co-emergence, the yoga of clarity and emptiness without grasping, and in subsequent attainment, practicing like a dream or illusion, is meditation. The third is: Whatever arises, happiness or suffering, knowing it as self-arising and self-liberating, and enhancing the power of view and meditation with conduct that is in accordance with the order of the senses, is conduct. The fourth is: Because familiarity has become habitual, the way in which appearances, emptiness, and clear light arise is free from acceptance and rejection, hope and doubt, and the state of abiding has become a certainty, which is the result. The meaning of these is also as stated in "The Lamp That Illuminates": Abiding like a mountain king is the measure of view. Abiding like an ocean is the measure of meditation. Abiding like appearance is the measure of conduct. Abiding like awareness is the measure of result. That yogi who possesses the four measures is the one whose mind is united with the ultimate meaning. Thus it is said. Having introduced it in this way, temporarily, one can see directly without remaining in the speculation of dharmata, and ultimately, with the key point of seeing directly, even if life is interrupted, one will attain Buddhahood in the realm of the self-nature nirmanakaya. Third, indicating the way in which subsequent perception experiences arise, there are three: Identifying the arising gates of the four appearances,
