Handing oneself over, settling down without obstruction, and cutting it into one. Settling down in non-duality, and diligently practicing in spontaneous liberation. These spoken words are no different from the meaning just explained. Third, introducing on the basis of experiential practice, divided into introducing in the state of self-abiding meditation, and introducing in the play of self-radiance wisdom. First, as stated in the "Precious Lamp Sutra": "From the nature of the three postures, the meaning of original purity will manifest." Among them, the mountain posture, the body is firmly fixed in the seven aspects of Vairocana's posture; the ocean posture, the eyes gaze steadily straight ahead at a distance of one arrow's length without moving the eyeballs; the awareness posture, the mind is not defiled by any of the three temporal aspects of past, present, and future, and the present awareness, clear and without grasping, is allowed to settle in its natural state of Dharma, without acceptance or rejection. Hey! Fortunate ones, do not be distracted, and look at this present, clear, and naked awareness! The stainless and pure Buddha is the self-aware Dharmakaya, which never changes. Clear and bright, like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide steadfastly like a mountain! Abide clearly and immovably like the ocean! Abide spaciously, free from narrowness, like the sky! Whatever the state, abide in the state of awareness! Whatever the appearance, it is the radiance of awareness! Let the arising and abiding of awareness be clear and bright! Just as birds, no matter where they fly, do not leave the sky, so is the state of awareness. Let all phenomena abide self-clearly and immovably! Thus, abide in the state of clear and pure mind. When reciting "Phat (ཕཊ་)", due to distraction and forgetfulness, the previous non-conceptual purity disappears, and there will also arise conceptual thoughts accompanied by feelings, as well as self-awareness, permissiveness, and rootlessness that do not counteract grasping. Therefore, it should be recognized that this is the self-abiding meditation of awareness. Once this is recognized, no matter what state awareness is in, whether it is moving or still, accepting or rejecting, good thoughts or bad thoughts, one must gaze at the self-aware natural state. In this way, the ungrasping self-abiding meditation will appear nakedly, and this alone is the effortless, spontaneous practice like a river. After gaining some stability in this, by combining gentle, harsh, and moderate behaviors with one's own experience, integrating meditation with behavior, all actions, words, thoughts, and conceptualizations become the play of Dharmata.

Like the rising sun, there is no difference between simultaneous and sequential. There is no interval between day and night. There is no dharma of acceptance and rejection. There is no distinction between the one who meditates and the object of meditation; everything is integrated into the meaning of the self-radiance of awareness, the exhaustion of phenomena, and primordial purity. Thus, in the Transcendent Treatise, it is said: The essence is primordially pure wisdom. Ignorance does not exist, therefore there is no counting of one and two. Even wisdom itself is not established. As it is said. Second, introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom, divided into three parts. First, introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind: The three gates of body, speech, and mind are naturally relaxed. Various thoughts of affirmation and negation are completely abandoned. All the manifestations of discursive thoughts are pacified. The co-emergent wisdom of clarity and emptiness abides in its original nature, like waves subsiding in the ocean, clear and unmoving. As it is said in Self-Arising Radiance: Transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the stains of the four extremes are naturally purified. As it is said. At that time, the mind free from elaboration is the Dharmakaya, clarity without grasping is the Sambhogakaya, and the unceasing manifestation of various forms is the Nirmanakaya, because the essence, nature, and compassion are inseparable. As it is said in the Jeweled Array: The complete Buddha is self-knowing, the essence is unchanging in the three times, the nature is eternally unceasing, and compassion illuminates all. As it is said. In the Transcendent Treatise, it is said: Wisdom abides in itself, indivisible in the manner of the three kayas. As it is said. Second, introducing arising as the play of the mind: In the state of clarity and non-thought, whatever arises from the unceasing energy is not affirmed or negated, accepted or rejected, but naturally maintained. Just as waves arise in the ocean without disturbing the nature of the ocean, all arising thoughts do not deviate from the play of Dharmata. As it is said in the Jeweled Array: Unceasing energy can manifest anything. From the moment of arising, it is naturally liberated. It cannot be described as liberation, therefore there is nothing that is not liberated. As it is said. At the moment of arising, it is naturally liberated without relying on an antidote, like a snake's knot. As it is said in the Transcendent Treatise: The awareness that arises, like a snake's knot, is naturally liberated. As it is said. Third, introducing the inseparability of arising and abiding: The nature of mind, in the state of non-thought, is the unceasing arising of various discursive thoughts.
