Those five letters, according to the unsurpassed, are the five dakinis. Thus, even when distinguishing between inner and outer, they arise from the very wisdom of awareness, so they are pointed out right there. The key to the pointing-out instruction of the five dakinis can be known elsewhere. Furthermore, that very basic awareness is also pointed out as five excellences. From Rangshar: That is, the nature of awareness possesses five kinds of wisdom. So it is said. Because awareness is the source of both samsara and nirvana, it is the wisdom of discernment. Also, since it does not go beyond self-awareness, it is the wisdom of gathering. Since the very nature of awareness pervades everything, it is the wisdom of pervasiveness. Since the wind of wisdom arises from its clarity, it is the wisdom of movement. Since the awareness of both samsara and nirvana cuts life into wisdom, it is the wisdom of liberation. Thus, since everything does not go beyond the wisdom of awareness, it is self-arisen wisdom. That is, from the beginning, the basis of wisdom is not recognized, so the body is formed. That body has the nature of wisdom, the essence of the five elements, and dwells in the play of body and wisdom in the bindu of cause. Its clear radiance shines as light, so it is named the three wisdoms. From Tsal Dzog: In all sentient beings of the three realms, the heart essence is stacked with the three wisdoms. So it is said. This is also not something that can be divided into three. Although the basis is formed from ignorance, once it is recognized, then the beginning, middle, and end do not go beyond wisdom. This is, from Rangshar: Awareness without thought is Dharmakaya. Awareness unceasingly clear is Sambhogakaya. Awareness appearing as anything is Nirmanakaya. So it is said. Although shown as many, body and mind are inseparable. From Thalgyur: Because beings are pervaded by mind, there is no sentient being who is not a Buddha. So it is said. All the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are completely contained in body and mind. The dharmas of samsara and nirvana are completely contained in body and mind. So it is said. From Klongsal: The beginning, middle, and end are shown as the Buddha's intention, the nature of the three kayas and five wisdoms, delusion and non-delusion. Therefore, that nature of the basic awareness wisdom, in the middle, is deluded without knowing, and thus takes a body. For that body, it is also shown that body and wisdom dwell inseparably. Now from here, like that, body and wisdom universally pervade all sentient beings, and the nature is the power of wisdom. That is, in the middle, due to ignorance, the true nature of awareness wisdom is not recognized, wisdom
