Pray! Alas! The five Sugatas and, Lama Yidam Dakini, please remember! Great gatekeepers, please open the gate, show the city of liberation! Pray like this. After the four gatekeepers open the gate, visualize that all the deities of the mandala are looking with their eyes, prostrate and throw flowers, and then unveil the curtain. Then pray to the main deity inside: Alas! Lama Vajradhara and, Mandala deity assembly, after abandoning, there is no other protector, please grant me with your compassion! Recite this three times and throw flowers. Then the Lama says this: Wonderful! You are a supreme vessel, I will grant you what you desire! Say like this. Then the disciple says: I desire to mature and liberate, through the fruit of secret mantra, the stream of nectar, please grant me with your compassion! Request like this three times. Then the Lama says: Ema! Ema! Son of the lineage! You are an awakener of karmic illusions! Because you are the supreme son of the lineage, I will guide you into the five families of Samantabhadra, and descend wisdom, you will obtain all the accomplishments! These accomplishment mandalas, if spoken to those who have not seen, will violate the vows and fall into hell! Five families, five kinds of wisdom, enter your heart, speaking these will separate from the wisdom deity! Say like this. Then put the nectar on the tongue: This is your vow water! Violating the vow will be burned! If protected, all accomplishments will be obtained! Drink this vow nectar water! Om amrita dama lasma da svaha! (Om amrita dama lasma da svaha, Om Nectar Vow Not Separate Svaha) Oh! My teacher is the Buddha of the five families, do not violate my teachings! If violated, you will be born in the Vajra Hell, and there will be no time to escape! Declare the vows like this. Then descend wisdom: Place the disciple in the row and make him possess the seven dharmas of Vairochana, visualize a red rotating swastika in the disciple's heart, in which visualize Yam (藏文：ཡཾ，梵文天城体：यं，梵文罗马拟音：yaṃ，Wind realm seed syllable) on the moon, on the four branches of the swastika visualize the four syllables Ha Ri Ni Sa. Yam (藏文：ཡཾ，梵文天城体：यं，梵文罗马拟音：yaṃ，Wind realm seed syllable) is blown by the wind, visualize the swastika rotating to the left with the heart, do not be distracted. The hooves and hairs of the four limbs of a sheep, mix them and burn them in charcoal fire, the offering attendants play all the musical instruments, and recite the fierce root mantra, light radiates from the seed syllable in the heart, the five families of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, heroes and dakinis descend densely from the realm of the dakinis, enter the disciple's heart, and imagine them frolicking and dancing. The sign of the arrival of wisdom is that if it arrives in the body, one says, "This is this deity, this is this mantra," and the body trembles, dances, shivers, and the hair stands on end. If it arrives in speech, there will be speech, crying, singing, speaking Sanskrit, and so on. If it arrives in the mind, clarity of mind, bliss, and non-conceptualization will arise. If it does not arrive, one should strive to invoke it. This is the descent of wisdom. Then, when wisdom arrives, the disciples are led to the east gate of the mandala and prostrate. Pray, "Please, Iron Hook Mother, gatekeeper of the east gate, please open the east gate, so that we may meet the yidam deity." Rope Mother, Iron Chain Mother, Bell Mother, etc., are the same as before. Then take a flower and say, "In the palace of the five families of the Sugatas, by throwing this connecting flower, may all the connecting deities meet me. पुष्पा सिद्धि स्तोत्र (puṣpa siddhi stotra, Flower, accomplishment, praise)," throw it like this. Introduce the deity and mantra that the flower lands on, saying, "This is this deity, this is this mantra." Then comes the opening of the eyes: "The teacher, the five families of Buddhas, will open your eyes of ignorance and samsara into eyes of wisdom, likewise, may you open the eyes of beings into eyes of wisdom. Oṃ cakṣu svāhā! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཙཀྵུ་སྭཱཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ चक्षु स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ cakṣu svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, eye, svāhā!)" Thus, the blindfold is removed. Then the lama says, "Ema, sons of the lineage, all of you are liberated from all sins, look at this great mandala, generate faith with body, speech, and mind, be blessed by mantras and mudras, you will obtain all accomplishments, be diligent in vows and mantras." Thus it is said. Then, the pure explanation of the mandala and the deity should be understood from elsewhere. The above are the eleven preliminaries. Then comes the actual empowerment, from the "Clear Space": "Offer the mandala, make offerings, pray, wherever the flower lands, bestow the five wisdom empowerments of the union of lineage and vidyā." Therefore, the karma master says, "Pray, all those who seek empowerment."
