Saying, "Please send a scholar who is proficient in the Dharma of the Fruit Secret Mantra." The king commanded, "Go." Upon receiving the king's command, the two translators went to India and paid homage to King Indrabodhi. They offered the king's previous golden patra and gold powder, and conveyed the previous message. The king was very pleased and said, "Let these two Tibetan Bodhisattvas stay in this cool palace." When the panditas came to register, at the banquet, the king said, "Great scholars, the Tibetan king has sent me a very good gift. In return for this gift, please send a pandita who is highly skilled in the Dharma of the Fruit Secret Mantra." The teacher Buddhaguhya said, "Now, where is that gift called 'waist'? Bring him here." After the king brought him, the two translators saw the signs and marks of Vimala's body and developed great faith. When looking up, they saw Vimala at once; when looking down, they also looked up and recognized him from the sand, and then stood up and uttered the sound "Gha Gha Pa Ri." The two translators had two ways of understanding this phrase: Lok Ros (Tibetan): Relying on bows and arrows, if a man's thumb can exert effort, the arrow will carry him to the other shore. Kawa (Tibetan): Relying on boats, if a keen-eared person can strive, he will cross the ocean. They understood different words but the same meaning. After asking Vimala, he said, "Relying on the sand, if you, the king, can let go, I will benefit Tibet." Then, he departed with a set of extremely profound Secret Essence teachings, along with a servant named Acharya Se'nyingpo. That night, all the dreams became chaotic. He dreamed that all the flowers, fruits, trees, and crops of India went to Tibet; he dreamed that the sun and moon went to the direction of Tibet; at that time, in the cool charnel ground, the dakinis were planting vegetables; the king's clock and the calculations of the staff were all messed up. The next morning, all the Indians gathered in front of the gate of the king's palace to discuss the dreams.

Everyone agreed and discussed it. Some said, "What are they saying?" Some said, "What are they saying?" A woman said, "Please go before the King! Is the King's place of offering going to be taken by Tibet?" The previous sign was that a learned Pandit had composed the Dharma of Fruit Vajrayana, which was unprecedented. After reporting to the King, the King said that yesterday it was taken to Tibet in Jema (place name). So the people of India sent fast horses and hung notices at all the intersections and street corners of Tibet, saying that two Tibetan monks had taken the evil mantras of Menbu Tramen (place name) from the border area, and all the kingdoms of Tibet would be destroyed. Many such notices were hung. At that time, Mudra was invited from Jema and came to glorious Samye Monastery (桑耶寺). The two translators earnestly reported to the King, "This Pandit has attained accomplishment and is an incarnation who has reincarnated to benefit sentient beings. He is universally proficient in all the Tripitaka, and especially the profound meaning of Fruit Vajrayana has been thoroughly understood. Not even a single word was left in India, and all of it was brought to Tibet." The King said, "Tonight, stay in the golden palace of the royal palace, and do whatever you want to do tomorrow morning." So they stayed in the royal palace. At that time, those vicious ministers of Tibet read the notices and heard that the Pandit had come to Samye Monastery (桑耶寺). The ministers reported to the King, "We have here various evil mantras of Menbu Tramen (place name) from the border area." They requested the King not to stay here and to inflict punishment. The next day, the two translators came before the King and said they wanted to see the King. The King said, "You two, it seems that this Pandit is not genuine, but is bringing various evil arts of Tramen (place name). We will observe for a few days." So he did not allow it. After that, the two translators were very distressed and lay in the royal palace for three days. One of them built Vima and worshiped the God of Vairocana's Body, the God of Body, the God of Wisdom. Then the sculptures on the wall turned to ashes. The two translators were amazed and reported to the King. The King said, "Those are all evil arts of Tramen (place name)." The two translators were very uneasy.

We two endured hardships all the way from India to invite such an extraordinary scholar. We wondered, 'What kind of king is this?' and felt discouraged. Then, after three more days, the king arose and (visualized) the deity of Vairocana's form. The wisdom deity empowered the deity of form. Removing the earth mound headdress and putting it on, his body became even more magnificent than before. Following the Indian custom, he became radiant and glorious. The two translators then reported to the king. After that, the king was very pleased and said, 'Then send swift messengers to all parts of Tibet, telling them to gather on the third day of the month in one month's time.' Then, within a month, in front of the Utsé Riksum (place name) gate, on the right, a high turquoise throne was piled up for the king, and on the left, a high golden throne was piled up. All of Tibet gathered, and the king prostrated to the Pandit. Everyone saw that in the king's heart, in the center of a silk cloth, the deities of the Three Protectors were clearly visible, appearing in that way. At that time, Vimala (Vimalamitra), on his precious crown, recited 'Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)' and shook the hand bell. Everyone clearly saw the Five Buddhas, and the people of the Tibetan kingdom praised him greatly. At this time, Vimala (Vimalamitra) was three hundred years old. Although the lords and ministers did not have such abilities, it was for the sake of taming those to be tamed. Thus, when Vimala (Vimalamitra) and the incarnate lords and ministers met, it was one thousand eight hundred years after the Buddha's Nirvana. At that time, Vimala (Vimalamitra) was not regarded as a sacred site, but simply taught the Prajnaparamita and Madhyamaka doctrines. Until Vimala (Vimalamitra) left at noon, a beggar came to the throne where the Compendium of Topics was being taught. He wrote words that others did not notice: The Hearer's Small Vehicle Dharma cannot attain Buddhahood; a crow cannot level the ground with a vajra gait. He wrote such a double entendre. After that, Vimala (Vimalamitra) came to the throne, opened the kapala (skull cup), and saw the writing. Vimala (Vimalamitra) said, 'Who came here?' The monks listening to the Dharma all said, 'No one came.' A small child said, 'No, there was an old beggar wandering around.' Vimala (Vimalamitra) said, 'Go find that beggar.'
