Speech is Dharma, therefore it is the Dharma Seal. Its nature is: view, meditation, and action. Its characteristic is: being free from all superimpositions. Its destination is the Great Seal. The essence of the Great Seal is: the meaning of the profound Dharma-nature, which is difficult for others to fathom. Its definition is: it is greater than the three seals, therefore it is great. The nature of the Great Seal is: beyond the mind. Its characteristic is: non-mentation. Its destination is the primordial Great Seal itself. The very nature of the Great Seal, when clearly distinguished and shown, is: first, showing the divisions of the Great Seal, there are three: the Great Seal of names, the Great Seal of non-names, and the Great Seal of primordial freedom from elaboration. Among these, the names are: such as the stages of practice, Amanasika, the Treasury of the Great Seal, the stages of essence, the stages of the path, and so on. The Great Seal of non-names that transcends the mind is: the very meaning of the co-emergent, primordial, non-dual wisdom that pervades all sentient beings without exception. The Great Seal of freedom from elaboration is: that which transcends all limits of words, letters, thoughts, and discriminations. The essence of the Great Seal is: unchanging, timeless, without coming and going, formless, and all-pervading. The definition of the Great Seal is: a seal is that which holds, that is: without attachment to sealing after recognizing the non-elaborate co-emergent wisdom, sealing with non-elaborate freedom from grasping, not deviating from the great meaning of transcending the mind, therefore it is more excellent than all vehicles, therefore it is called great, because there is nothing above it. From the outer vehicle onwards, up to the vehicle of the unsurpassed tantra, it is great in stages. Its conduct the Great Seal is also great because there is no abandoning, taking, negating, or establishing. Meditation is great because there is no mental activity. The view is great because it relies on the symbol of the primordial, unconditioned, and realizes it all at once. Therefore, it is called the Great Seal. Furthermore, if combined with the four of mindfulness, non-mindfulness, non-birth, and transcending the mind, then: first, explaining mindfulness the meaning, who remembers? The yogi who possesses fortune. How does one remember? That very primordial co-emergent wisdom

Now remember. How to remember? In the absence of inherent characteristics, remember in the manner of emptiness. How to remember? Remember without focusing on the Great Seal. Where is the destination of remembrance? It is the very place of non-remembrance. Therefore, the movement of consciousness abides as co-emergent wisdom, and the cessation of prior remembrance is called non-remembrance. Furthermore, in the "Explanation of Non-Remembrance," where is there no remembrance? There is no remembrance in the Great Seal itself. What is absent? Remembrance is inherently absent. How is there no remembrance? There is no remembrance like clouds clearing in the sky. Why is there no remembrance? Because there is no remembrance as one abides in the nature of unborn Dharma. What is unborn? The mind of enlightenment is unborn. How is there no birth? Co-emergent wisdom is unborn. Why is there no birth? Because it dissolves into a Dharma that transcends the intellect, therefore there is no birth. "Explanation of Transcending the Intellect," thus, realizing everything as self-liberated is called transcending the intellect. What is transcended? It is transcended into the unborn. Where is it transcended? It is transcended into the state of primordial Great Seal. By what is it transcended? It is transcended by transcending the intellect. How is it transcended? It is transcended like surpassing the best of individuals. Why is it transcended? It is transcended in order to see the meaning of the Great Seal. Thus, for the "person" who realizes the Great Seal, there is no need for listening to the Dharma, explaining the Dharma, meditating, reciting, and so forth, because the meaning of all those "Great Seals, etc." does not go beyond the primordial state, and all Dharmas indicated by symbols are abandoned. Thus, that which is free from the Bardo is itself the Great Seal, and nothing better can be found elsewhere. Thus, the co-emergent symbol of the oral instruction, through faith, meets with the meaning of the primordial Dharma nature. Thus, by meeting in this way, the appearance of prior remembrance ceases, and therefore it is non-remembrance. Thus, realizing the symbol and meaning as unborn, it is therefore unborn. The dualistic grasping of symbol and meaning is separated from the intellect, therefore it is transcending the intellect. Again, in conjunction with the Mudra, abiding in the symbol through remembrance is the Karma Mudra. The great intellect that transcends where the appearance of the symbol has ceased does not go beyond that, therefore it is the Samaya Mudra. Thus, realizing the symbol and meaning as unborn, that is the Dharma nature, therefore it is the Dharma Mudra. Thus, being free from both symbol and meaning, that is transcending the intellect, there is no place to go.
