Athi Ri (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Roman transliteration, no meaning)! Key letters summarizing contradictions: Whatever efforts are made by the common vehicles turn into afflictions such as logic. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate faith in one's own view, awareness, and the direct instructions, which arise naturally, and to strive for that. Believing that there is nothing to be separately designated as affliction, one should first give rise to firm faith in entering into one's own nature. Having great faith in this instruction, one gains the confidence of not accepting other ideas. Therefore, cutting off the proliferation of many philosophical systems, one should take the three words of the guru's instruction to heart and strive to practice them. The proliferation of words ceases naturally, and thus faith arises in one's own meaning. By seizing the key point of one's own awareness, one experiences the reality itself. Since one sees the nature of one's own awareness, there is nothing that does not become a friend of one's own view, no matter how one speaks or abides. Therefore, one should know that this is inherently related to one's own reality. Athi Ri (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Roman transliteration, no meaning)! Key letters summarizing the views of others: The key point that the teachings of the Great Perfection and other vehicles, as well as the view of the three circles of thigle, do not touch upon is that they do not recognize that things exist in the realm of the senses, but rather believe that they exist in the realm of wisdom. If one examines with wisdom, even if one truly searches, one will not find the depths of the aggregates, let alone awareness. Therefore, from the perspective of binding to samsara, there is not even a particle of difference between the eternalist and nihilist views of the tirthikas and the views of the nine successive vehicles. All the scriptures and treatises that are written down are objects of knowledge, and there is not even a particle that can be practiced. Even though there are those who speak of these as great words, there are also the words of the Buddha who said, "If reality could be practiced, it would not be reality." That is only when one's own appearances reach their limit after practice, but not otherwise. This is like a person who is not the owner but counts the wealth of others. This is considering the qualities of the ground or reality as the result. This is like praising the qualities of another person with words, but those qualities cannot become one's own clothing. All of these are more accurate than the knowledge of mental judgment.
