I prostrate to where the Complete Buddha was born, To where enlightenment was touched, To where the wheel of peace was turned, And to the place of stainless Nirvana. I also prostrate to the place where the Sugata resides, Where he walks, stands, And sleeps like a lion, To that place as well. Above, below, and in between, In all directions and intermediate directions, To the stupas with and without form, I prostrate. The noble two-legged one dwells in the east, And in the direction of the north. The Victorious One is called "Difficult to Rely On," He spoke this verse. Whoever praises the Thus-Gone One With these four verses, For millions of eons, Will not go to the lower realms. Thus, to the Victorious One, the dwelling place, and the stupas, along with all sentient beings, I manifest as many as atoms of the body and prostrate. After that, while contemplating the meaning, recite the seven branches of the Noble Excellent Conduct, and then generate the mind of enlightenment: Ah! Complete Buddha and the sons of the Victorious Ones, Who have become witnesses, eyes, and valid cognizers, Who have power to accomplish the benefit of beings, Possessing the mind of enlightenment, please listen. Just as the Buddhas of the past and, The heroic sons of the Victorious Ones, For the sake of benefiting and bringing happiness to beings, Reside in the essence of the mind of enlightenment. Separated from all things, Aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and, Having abandoned the grasped and the grasper, Of the nature of selflessness of phenomena. Like the way you generated the mind of emptiness, Of the nature of emptiness, which is unborn from the beginning, I and others of the same kind also, Generate the unsurpassed mind of enlightenment. This is extracted from the stainless ritual of Abbot Shantarakshita. After that, perform the offerings spoken from the Bodhisattvacharyavatara, and first: For the sake of grasping the precious mind of enlightenment, The Thus-Gone Ones and the sacred Dharma, The stainless Three Jewels and the sons of the Buddhas, I offer well to the ocean of qualities. Thus, all offerings are completely transformed into the sacred substance of enlightenment. After that, while contemplating the meaning in mind, Flowers, fruits, whatever there are, And whatever kinds of medicine there are, Whatever precious things there are in the world, Whatever clean and pleasing water there is, Precious mountains and likewise, Forest land

Secluded places with pleasant scenery, adorned with trees and flowers, trees with beautiful branches, fragrances of gods and other worldly beings, as well as incense, wish-fulfilling trees, jewel trees, various crops that grow without cultivation, and other ornaments suitable for offering, lakes and ponds adorned with lotuses, swans with very melodious and pleasing sounds, the boundless sky reaching to the horizon, all these unowned things, taken with wisdom, are offered to the Supreme Buddha and all the Buddha's children. I beseech the holy and compassionate ones of the sacred place, to have compassion for me, please accept these offerings of mine. I am without merit, extremely poor, and have no other wealth to offer. Therefore, please, protectors who think of the benefit of others, accept these by your power for my sake. To the Buddhas and their children, I offer my entire body forever. Please, supreme bodhisattvas, accept me completely, and respectfully I will be your servant. Since I am completely held by you, I will be fearless in samsara and benefit sentient beings. I will completely overcome past sins, and I will not commit other sins in the future. A bathing chamber that is extremely fragrant, with a crystal floor that is clear and gleaming, with pleasing jewel pillars, and draped with strings of pearls. There, with many jeweled vases filled with fragrant water, with beautiful and pleasing songs and music, I bathe the bodies of the Thus-Gone Ones and their children. I wipe their bodies with incomparable, clean, and fragrant cloths. Then, I offer them robes of excellent color and supremely fragrant. And various fine clothes that are soft and thin, and hundreds of excellent ornaments, with these I also adorn the noble Samantabhadra, Manjushri, and Lokeshvara, and others. The bodies of the Buddhas are anointed with supreme fragrances, with the scent pervading everywhere in the three thousand worlds, like refined gold that has been burnished, those radiant and blazing bodies. To the Buddhas and the supreme objects of offering, I offer pleasing garlands of mandara flowers, lotuses, utpala flowers, and all kinds of fragrant flowers.
