To purify obscurations in this life and the next, visualize it in the same way. To accomplish wealth, add དྷ་ནི་མེ་དེ་ཧི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, dhani mede hi svāhā, Romanized Sanskrit, wealth, give me, accomplishment) to the end of the eight-syllable root mantra. Furthermore, for specifically designated wealth, replace the word "wealth" with the name of whatever is desired and recite it. To supremely increase life, merit, and wisdom, add མ་མ་ཨཱ་ཡུ༔པུརྱ་ཛྙཱ་ན་པུཥྚིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, mama āyuḥpuryajñānapuṣṭiṃ kuru svāhā, Romanized Sanskrit, my life, merit, wisdom increase, please do, accomplishment) to the end of the eight syllables. For the benefit of others, omit "my" and add whatever name is appropriate. These sequences of mantras are very useful right now, and have been explained in a little more detail to make them easier to understand for beginners. Thus, regarding the number of mantras, in the first and second offerings of the mandala to the Noble Lady, recite the root mantra one hundred times and the one with added words one hundred times. In the third offering ritual, recite both of these four hundred times, so that the number of mantras reaches two thousand, as stated by the noble ones. In some other places, the number of mantra recitations is not clearly stated, but here, the praise and prostration of the root mantra itself are combined into one, and recited according to the fixed order of two, three, and seven. Therefore, the root mantra of the praise is one hundred and ten times, and the one with added words is fifty times, so that the three rituals amount to one thousand and eighty mantras.
