Eighth: The practice method of Black Hayagriva. Hrih! In the Dharma realm, in the sky, the self-radiant fire-mass is vast. On a sea of blood, a fire-mass, skeletons, and a tiger skin seat, Above the Rudra corpse, the wrathful supreme Black Hayagriva. With a short, dwarfish form, in the Gelug posture, the two hands beat a human-skin drum. Vajra Krodheshvari encircles him, holding a curved knife and skull cup. In the four directions are four dakinis holding the four mudras. On the crown of his head are a lotus, a skull garland, a skull drum, and a bell. Vajravarahi plays with a curved knife and skull cup. The four secret Yeshe deities hold cymbals and bells. Furthermore, countless wrathful deities, male and female, Whirl like a blizzard, with flames and vajra Ram. Spreading everywhere, in the center, generate a terrifying form. The prayer: When walking on a dangerous path, When threatened by murderers, robbers, and thieves, Pray without doubt or hesitation. O Gyen, endowed with the meaning of the four mudras, Destroys the fierce minds of wild and barbaric people. I pray to O Gyen Padmasambhava, Bless me so that my wishes are spontaneously fulfilled. Repeat three times. When you pray, flames radiate and gather, With a blazing wheel, destroy enemies, robbers, thieves, And obstacles, bad omens, evil spirits, curses, and misfortunes. May all fears be utterly destroyed and become a protective tent. Finally, transform yourself into the form of Guru Hayagriva, Flames emanate from your mouth, burning external obstacles and hindrances. By inviting them inward, burn away sickness, evil spirits, sins, and obscurations. Purify all dualistic appearances in between into emptiness. Completion stage: Transform secret conceptual thoughts into the path. That is, the subtle, coarse, and gross six consciousnesses. Attachment to objects causes the cycle of samsara. Furthermore, small wrathful ones, a vajra blizzard rages. The supplication: If surrounded by the army of executioners, Pierced by sharp weapons, in times of danger, Without doubt, sincerely supplicate. Through the one possessing the vajra tent of Orgyen, The executioners are terrified, weapons scattered. Supplicate to Orgyen Padmasambhava, Bless that aspirations be spontaneously accomplished. When supplicating, from the seed syllable in the heart, And from the pores, hair, and hand gestures, The wrathful ones holding various weapons, May all enemies who harbor hatred towards me, Be crushed into powder, and may the small wrathful iron scorpions, Feast on flesh, blood, and bones. Gathered here, above, below, and in all directions, the vajra, The tent becomes an indivisible whole. Finally, may oneself become Vajrakilaya. In the wisdom heart, a vajra the size of a bean, Above the sun disc, a red Hum, surrounded by a mantra garland. Rays of light emanate, offering to the victorious ones, purifying the obscurations of sentient beings. Pacify the malicious thoughts of humans and non-humans.
