Herein resides the definitive essence of the Naba school, the unceasing sound of the ocean of Mahayana treatises, called "The Precious Treasure." ༈ Oṃ Guru Padma Siddhi Hūṃ Hrīḥ! The essence of all victorious ones, like an ocean, The Vajra of speech, the protector Amitābha, The lord of the vast ocean of mandalas, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. The Dharmadhatu, perfectly accomplished from the very beginning, The Sugata-garbha, free from birth, cessation, and abiding, The all-pervading Samantabhadra, the essence-body, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. The essence of awareness, beyond the finest particles, The wisdom body, like a mirror, Skillfully perfecting the distinct discernment of actions and accomplishments, without confusion, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. The equality of all dharmas, the vast expanse of wisdom, Not different, free from singularity, Beyond intellect, free from elaboration, the non-dual bindu, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. In existence, you always appear, In the peaceful realm, you always abide in equanimity, The nature that pervades all of existence and peace, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Though dwelling in samsara, there is no fault of samsara, Though passing into nirvana, you do not sleep in peace, The essence of all stainless victorious ones, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. You never fall into the extreme of permanence, Free from the affirmation of emptiness and selflessness, Always abiding in a state of non-thought, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. You do not abide in either of the two extremes, Nor is there an object of focus in the middle way, Beyond speech, thought, and expression, transcending birth and cessation, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. You abide as the sole one, Yet appear in all forms, The essence of inconceivable awareness, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. You are the essence of all Buddhas, The mighty son of all Buddhas, The father who gives rise to all Buddhas, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. You are the emanation of all victorious ones, Having become the basis of emanation for all victorious ones, You bestow empowerment upon all victorious ones, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. From before all of samsara and nirvana, Perfectly accomplished and abiding in the midst of samsara and nirvana, Dwelling at the end of samsara and nirvana, timeless in the three times, I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Abiding in the essence without samsara and nirvana, The nature that transcends the names and signs of liberation and delusion.

Law. Appears to all and becomes the basis of all. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. In the center of the eight consciousness aggregates, wisdom arises spontaneously, abiding in the state of non-elaboration. It becomes the essence of all samsara and nirvana. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. All appearances are not established from the beginning. While not established, appearances are both established and not established. The basis of what is called appearance is without basis and without effort. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Appearances and mind are not gathered inward as many. Other than mind, it is never established elsewhere. The realm of sameness is empty of any mixing. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. From the beginning, it is without basis, without root, and empty. Emptiness and wisdom destroy and transcend karma. Appearances and mind are all empty, both suddenly and eternally. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. This nature is very difficult to realize. This wisdom is extremely subtle. The inconceivable nature of reality is the way things are. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Not adorned with cunning, not concealed with flattery. The essence of all is extremely good. Good and bad, acceptance and rejection, are free from elaboration. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. The all-pervading body and the wisdom body are one. Residing in the midst of impurities, it is not stained by impurities. Extremely vast, extremely subtle. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Completely abandoning all aspects of consciousness. All wisdom is complete with its full potential. The fruit of abandonment and realization is manifested. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. All discriminations are empty in their own nature. Other-powered and ultimate, their own nature is empty. Emptiness and wisdom are perfectly established, eternal, and stable. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Conventional truths are never stable. Ultimate truth is extremely stable. The indestructible and unchanging nature of vajra. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Grasping at the stable, with attachment and focus. Stable and unstable, the root is empty. The wisdom of the dharmadhatu is immutable. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Free from the self of person and the self of phenomena. The essence of selflessness is prajnaparamita. Emptiness is without characteristics and without aspirations. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. Suffering as the fruit, arising as the cause. The path to be abandoned, the cessation to be attained. The nature of the four truths is the innate luminosity. I prostrate to the Buddha Padmasambhava. The root of samsara
