In order to be in accordance with the wishes of (the Guru), and for the sake of equivalence, abandoning the pride of one's own birth, status, knowledge, the body first prostrates, with the head receiving (the Guru's) feet, and with the mouth praising the good name in the ten directions. In the heart, towards the lord of the mandala, Kalachakra, generate unwavering and steadfast faith. This is taken as the basis of all mandalas, but nowadays the lamas and disciples of the monasteries seem to attach great importance to symbolizing (offerings) with worldly mandalas. Although the worldly mandala of Vajrasattva is spoken of, there is no real great respect arising in the heart. According to custom, worldly objects are used symbolically for mandala initiation, just as the tantras say, making every effort to prepare the worldly mandala. During the transmission of oral instructions and teachings, no matter whether one's own objects are good or bad, they are offered in order, symbolizing the offering. Even if (the Guru) says that a part is poison, all the worldly objects that can be found are offered immediately. Jewels and the like are a way of offering a pure worldly mandala. This is not to repay kindness, but for those who will request initiation and rely on the Guru in the future, so that they do not come empty-handed, but need to do so, this is just a metaphor. In general, although it is said that the offering of Vajrasattva is small, as long as there is attachment to oneself, this worldly mandala is like the method of accumulating merit and resources depends on the worldly, so it is very important to practice offering. Even so, for those who have faith and devotion, but have no worldly possessions at all, this is not understood. These are the extended meanings according to the circumstances at the time. Here, this worldly mandala is only symbolic, first offering the thirty-seven heaps of mandalas made of hands and jewels, silver, and wrapped in auspicious silk, as the beginning of the offering. First is the Kalachakra lineage diagram on Kashika cloth, with Vajradhara Heruka as the main deity. There is also the tantra diagram of Shambhala, as well as the sutra diagram of the "Essence of Definitive Meaning Sutra", the diagram of the five continents and the four great continents of mankind, and the flawless perfection.
