Some see him as a skilled manipulator, offering feasts of wealth at all gatherings. Some see him as shameless and eccentric, walking with toes turned in, eyes askance, acting brazenly. Some see him as a connected and valuable person, serving him respectfully with body, speech, and mind. Some see him as a possessed charlatan, fearing the loss of flour and barley. Some see him as an accomplished yogi, requesting teachings to dispel obstacles and enhance practice. Some see him as a novice meditator, who in turn lectures me on Dharma, roaring with pride like thunder. Some see him as a son of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), trusting him with unwavering devotion. Some see him as a lying deceiver, misunderstanding even when he speaks the truth. Thus, due to their individual karmas, there is no end to what beings see and hear. Some say, "He seems like a good person." Some conclude, "He is a fraud." Some say, "This person is not fake, either good or bad, definitely a god or a demon." Various opinions spread in all directions. This judgment sounds very certain, but in reality, the great ocean does not make a noisy sound, only the small streams in narrow valleys are clamorous. Thinking of this analogy, I can't help but laugh. Generally, apart from Shakyamuni Buddha and Padmasambhava, ordinary people cannot measure others. Just as whether one is good or bad is unrelated to others, measuring others is also laughable. However, I can be both a god and a demon. Those with pure perception see me as a supreme Dharma teacher, while those with wrong views see me as a demon. In the eyes of ordinary people, I am a unique individual. Observing oneself, the situation is the same. Thinking about it again and again, my head spins. Although I am a wandering beggar, there is no point in being proud of the occasional praise from one or two villages in a certain place. Merely recognizing this does not lead to liberation. From the age of fourteen until now, I have associated with some great and terrifying people. Therefore, I have little to be proud of. Even if many people praise or criticize me, I am not surprised because my attachment to this life is small. Generally, all praise and criticism are like echoes in the valley, all acceptance and rejection are naturally liberated in thoughts, and the rope of artificial fabrication has long been broken. In short, I, this small yogi, old fraud, wherever I go, whether it is my own homeland or other places, I will not dress up in front of outsiders, nor will I do bad things in secret. Inside and outside are consistent.

Acting like a free yogi, Slightly self-disciplined, I feel relaxed and happy. Although there are no boasts of engaging in retreats, practices, or asceticism, Or of strictly upholding vows, I follow the words of the supreme Victor. Except for benefiting beings, I have not strived for flattering words to deceive others, Nor have I exerted myself in the worldly affairs of beautiful rhetoric. I have no strong attachment to this life, such as desiring greatness or seeking respect in my own mind. In general, I encountered the sacred Dharma from a young age, And followed the incomparable Guru. I obtained the essence of the Kagyu and Dzogchen teachings, And at the age of thirteen, I met my own mind's nature. I was not deceived by similar experiences, But was as firm as stone and bone in the essence of awareness, mindfulness, and wisdom. I was not carried away by the arrogance of "I am," But wandered everywhere, relying on many Gurus. I did not boast of my own greatness or act arrogantly, Nor did I utter empty, false words. I merged my own arising awareness into genuine practice. I consulted with everyone who was worthy of being asked. Although I have no great doubts at present, I would still like to ask if there is anyone worthy of being consulted. Although it is difficult to exhaust the outer hearing and thinking, Knowing one thing liberates all; this is the key to one's own mind. I have done my best in meditation, experience, and realization, And now I have gained some understanding and experience in my mind. Although I am not skilled in flattering words or worldly affairs, I am slightly self-disciplined in the law of karma. Although I am not good at being peaceful and gentle, I have tried not to interrupt good thoughts. The lifeblood of all Dharmas, Is also in one's own mind, and I am sure there is no concealment. In general, I relied on fifty or sixty Gurus, And kept vows with all of them, with hearts and minds united. Especially for the three root Gurus, I was regarded as a beloved son cherished from the depths of their hearts. I was given the praise, "You have accomplished your own benefit," And was also encouraged, "Now you should do the benefit of others." In general, some qualified holy beings and treasure revealers, Praised me for having excellent fortune. I also, from the depths of my heart, towards the Guru, By the power of faith, respect, and guarding vows, Caused those non-human dakinis to gather naturally, And also subdued some demons and spirits with my ability. Therefore, even if I do not use the wind lasso, Wherever I go, people admire me. Although it is difficult for those who connect with me to all have real meaning, All who connect with me can turn their minds to the Dharma. My own wishes are not very strong, I have only made deep prayers for the benefit of others. When speaking words free from addition and subtraction, Some people feel that I am praising myself, and I am ashamed of that.
