Grasping this life, ah, it's so depressing! This subtle ignorance, ah, it's so disgusting! Now is the time to seek a secluded mountain valley! It's time to cut off the end of karmic birth in this life! It's time to arrange the infallible good interdependence! It's time to arrange the interdependent words of Padma! It's time to spur oneself on with the iron hook of diligence! It's time to cultivate good, unwavering virtuous practice! It's time to rely on the feet of the supreme, noble Guru! Now is the time to accomplish the spontaneous fulfillment of the two benefits! Tshewang Norbu makes a vow himself! One should practice without emptiness! This was written by Tshewang Norbu in Lingwa Red Rock Dzong in Lower Mangyul Gungtang, when meaningless sadness and joy both increased, and when some circumstances and where one would be born in the next life appeared in his mind, on the sixth evening of the tenth Hor month of the Fire Sheep year (1967), facing the bright butter lamp, writing whatever came to mind. Well done! Auspiciousness! The blissful song of the sky yogi, built at the hundred springs on the border of Nepal and Tibet. Ah ho! Listen, gods, demons, and humans residing here! I, a homeless beggar, will sing a song. Refuge Lama resides on the crown of my head! I offer this song as an offering, please bless me! Ema! The place named Yala, the border of Nepal and Tibet! The mountain is like a raised white glacier banner. He is said to be the great god of the world, Gleru! He is a virtuous friend of Guru Padmasambhava. In front of it is the rocky mountain, the Vajra Cliff. The holy water is called the hundred nectar springs! A supreme practice place, a wonderful radiance shines. It is the dwelling place of hidden treasures, food, and many Dharmas. All the faithful men and women gathered here! In the past, they accumulated merit and have good fortune. Those who are devoted to the true white Dharma! Are brave dakas and dakinis with good lineage. The non-human assemblies of gods and demons are also! Bodhisattvas who generate the mind of enlightenment! They are protectors who protect the white Dharma! They are emanations of the meaningful glorious father and mother. I am also a son of Orgyen Guru! Intentionally taking birth to tame beings. Whatever appearance it may seem to be on the outside. In reality, I feel happy because I believe it to be true in my own mind. From a young age, I avoided doing bad deeds. From the depths of my heart, I believed in the goodness of white deeds. Not disregarding the law of cause and effect. I feel happy because I think I have no regrets. Growing up, not far from hypocrisy. I relied on the feet of many supreme lamas.

Homage! In general, I have met thirteen wise and accomplished masters, And I feel happy in my heart because I am fortunate. Without treating the Dharma as mere empty talk, Although I am not proficient in external phonetics, logic, and culture, Regarding the essential points of practicing mind, reality, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen, Even if my understanding is not high, I feel happy because I abide in my own mind. Some people are attached to false lama behavior, Whether they see good aspects or deception, I have neither envy nor wrong views, And I feel happy because I abide in my own position. Although I do not overly boast about my own country, I am not a pretentious lama with ornate clothes and flamboyant decorations, Nor am I a false lama with a noisy retinue, But a true yogi, and therefore I feel happy. All external appearances are like reflections of the moon in water, Like the mind of a child, laughing happily. All internal thoughts are baseless and empty, Liberated in meditation that transcends dualistic attachment, and therefore I feel happy. Even if I have not obtained a wonderful reputation, I am extinguished in the self-nature that is constantly changing, I recognize self-nature in the groundless realm, And now everything I do is integrated into the realm of virtuous deeds, and therefore I feel happy. In general, I have not slept comfortably since I was young, I have relied on two root masters, And I practice the nectar-like teachings in my heart, I do not measure them by words, and I feel happy in my heart. Even now, I still travel around, Not running around for fame and gain, But to visit holy places to extract the essence of the body, And I feel happy practicing by relying on the nectar-like holy places. Wherever I go, I have no attachment, No matter who I associate with, I have little joy or sorrow. Even if the body experiences birth, old age, sickness, and death, I have little fear, Like a beggar, everything is happy in emptiness. Although the words sound exaggerated, Just as various plants grow on the lush grasslands in summer, Various experiences will emerge in the practice of a yogi, I, this yogi, feel happy singing the songs of practice. Whether you like it or not, whatever arises, please do as you please. I am a yogi of the sky. This was sung by the Vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu, Karma Tendampa Thaye, at the request of the prompter during the dark-side gathering of the fourth month of the Fire Sheep year (1967) at Chumik Gyatsa, the border between Nepal and Tibet, at the end of the Mangyul Kyirong region (present-day northern Nepal). A song of self-expression at Rongben Namkha Dzong, encouraging others towards the Dharma. Namo Guruve (藏文,梵文天城体,namo guru ve,皈依上师)! All you fellow practitioners gathered here, please listen to me, I, the unattached beggar Tsewang Norbu, Through the power of some past virtuous deeds, Have obtained a body of leisure and endowment.
