These are the practices of the [practitioners]. Among them, it is important to distinguish the subtle points of words, understanding, experience, and realization, without mixing them. Merely repeating words is like the example of a parrot. Not understanding the meaning is like describing a place with hearing and thinking. Experience is like describing a place, just the thought of seeing a piece of paper. Realization is like seeing with one's own eyes. Even if the words are similar, when placed in one's own mind, these differences are very great. However, for the essence of practicing the true nature, the mind that wants to meditate is distracted and controlled by delusion. Be careful about accepting and rejecting, hoping and doubting in dwelling and movement. Therefore, the key is to maintain the natural state without distraction. Without arising gross, subtle, and fine thoughts, can one be liberated from just the experience of dwelling? Therefore, where are the subtle distinctions of gross, subtle, and fine? After distinguishing them well, introducing them into the path, at this moment, it is the face of all the Buddhas of the three times gathered together. My root guru, Vajradhara, his blessings, the subtle part of his speech, dwells in my heart, and I advise you with love. Nowadays, the experience of dwelling becomes vague, or if one is satisfied with just rough words, I value the subtle dwelling, doing these things will only tire oneself. However, because of your pure appearance, you urge with words that you need instructions, summarizing some important key points briefly, I present them here, and I think there is no fault. Thus, in the realm of beings to be tamed by the lotus hand [Avalokiteśvara], in the mandala of the earth adorned with white dust, the sovereign lord of the earth, the Victorious One, the protector of the world, Kelsang Gyatso's, virtuous friend who closely attends to his lotus feet, the great Khenpo of Phyong-gyas Riwo Dechen, the holder of the Tripitaka, Tenzin Gyatso, in the manner of giving instructions in unadorned language, in the impartial lands, all those who practice freely, the name well-known in India, Nepal, and Tibet, the Vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu, born in the thirteenth Rabjung year [1924], at the beginning of the New Year, on an auspicious white-side auspicious day, in the sacred place of accomplishment, Tölung Tsurphu [Tsurphu Monastery in Tölung], spontaneously, completed in one sitting, may this become the seed of increasing goodness. Auspicious! Auspicious! Sarva Mangalam [May all be auspicious!]. The Supplication Song "The Perfect Moon" Svasti [Auspicious!], Supreme embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, Protector who, by remembrance, completely eliminates all the decline of samsara and nirvana.

That root guru Dechen Lingpa, remembering you on the crown of his head, speaks to you as follows: This attainment of leisure and endowment is difficult to find, cherish it, do not let it go to waste in vain. The Lord of Death, the demon, when he will come is uncertain, cherish to be ahead in virtuous deeds. This law of karma is never deceiving, cherish to strive from the heart to abandon evil and adopt virtue. The ultimate aspiration is the sacred Dharma, cherish to strive on the path to enlightenment. Without being controlled by recklessness and distraction, cherish to strive as much as possible in the ten Dharma practices. The means to prevent impure appearances is the generation stage, cherish to focus your mind on the body of the supreme deity. The best of pacifying obstacles and purifying obscurations is reciting the mantra of the yidam, it is especially important to cherish. What has become the essence of all Dharmas is the guru's samaya, cherish it like your life. Also, having faith in the complete Buddha, cherish a firm faith from the depths of your heart. The bodhisattva's training is solely for the benefit of others, cherish to always cultivate love and compassion. If I were to say such things, there would be no end to the deeds, so for now, hold on to the essence of the meaning of the scriptures. Thus, from the direction of Ngari (Ngari, a region in western Tibet), a faithful person, Phuntsok Dawa, with repeated requests, without diminishing his kindness, that vidyadhara who has become the kingdom, with a special intention, speaks a little of this, may you also ripen the fruit of enlightenment with this virtue. Sarva Mangalam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व मङ्गलम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sarva maṅgalam, Chinese literal meaning: all auspiciousness). ༈ Condensed Instructions White Lotus. Svasti (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वस्ति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svasti, Chinese literal meaning: auspiciousness). The letter of wisdom light Vajra, who repeatedly bows to me with faith, has arrived. From among countless grasses and shrubs, the white lotus of leisure and endowment has been found only this time. Without entrusting recklessness and distraction to sleep, it is meaningful to meditate single-pointedly on the generation and completion stages. Unbearable disease is due to past karma, therefore, I urge you to diligently practice the sacred Dharma from the heart. Even the spirits and bhutas gathered by karma, if compassion arises from the depths of your heart, will turn into helpers. The clinging to the guru as an ordinary person, and the hypocritical faith, have no accomplishment. Therefore, whatever happiness, suffering, good or bad happens, abandon the hypocritical devotion to the guru Buddha. Having recognized that the deity and the guru are inseparable, practicing the yidam's visualization and recitation will accomplish great benefits in this life and the next. Even if you have many wrathful mantras of angry minds, they can only temporarily...
