They also accept form. The Great Perfection of one's own tradition is Tögal. The three realms, the nine and six lamps, or four views, the heart essence is self-arisen wisdom. Established by example, meaning, and signs. The intention of the complete liberation of the three realms, and with this unwavering, unmoving confidence of attainment, all the key points of Tögal are gathered therein. Abandon the nine activities and strive in practice. The signs of meditation are the experiential stages of the four visions. Ultimately, exhaust the Dharma into the expanse. Some new scholars analyze the term "Dharma exhaustion," but Dharma, consciousness, and the object of mind are of the same meaning. Until it is exhausted, there are obscurations. Even the tenth bhumi is consciousness, and it is known as the obscuration of the knowable by parts. Therefore, the consciousness of mind, intellect, and the four consciousnesses, its exhaustion is named "Dharma exhaustion." Some great scholars have transformed this, though the names are different, the essential points are the same in meaning. Not understanding this, some people become frightened upon hearing the name "Dharma exhaustion," engaging in sophistry with the intellect of conceptual thought, like a mirage of words deceiving deer. In the true meaning, the wisdom of Dharma-nature, the signs of exhaustion and non-exhaustion are not there either. Exhaustion and non-exhaustion are merely names, the meaning of Dharma-nature is beyond acceptance and rejection. Because of the fear of words and letters, I have not elaborated much here, but you holy ones have grasped it, focusing single-mindedly on abiding in reality. When the wisdom arising from meditation grows from within, what doubt is there about realizing ultimate truth? Although I have heard, contemplated, and understood much Dharma, I have been separated from meditation by the distraction of demons. Like a parrot reciting words, I do not think of myself as having anything wonderful. Therefore, yogis should strive in meditation, what use are names for the instructions of self-view? However, with the vision of pure appearance, it is said that instructions are needed. Furthermore, what is known as conduct, with and without elaboration, such as Bhusuku, etc., although many classifications have been taught from the tantras, in short, they should be put into practice in the present moment. With ethics as the root, and based on the results of karma. A dignified demeanor can guide others, beautiful and meticulous not just for show, but from the heart, the altruistic intention to benefit beings should never be abandoned. The lifeblood of all secret mantra Dharma is red, and one should strive from the heart to protect the sacred samaya. To summarize the essence of all of these, the view is aimless, self-nature wisdom.

Profound and clear, the union of great bliss in meditation, The conduct of unerring discipline in acceptance and rejection, The foundation of all is devotion to the Lama, The essential point is the Vajra Samaya (vow), Never distracted, pierce it into your heart, Diligent in cultivating the practice of the two stages, There is nothing that does not gather there, Therefore, practice the essence of meaning. Thus, in response to the request from the retreat place, The lineage holder of Kathok Gyangri Tsalkha, The Nyingma Vajrayana yogi, Lozang Nyendrak Rabten, In response to his supplication, in Dokham and U-Tsang, The domain of Kathok Dorje Den, The Bindu (point) of the earth, born in the direction of Drikung, The messenger sent by the prophecy of Padmasambhava, The Shakya devotee of the arrogant Lha race, Fearless in speaking the ocean of scriptures, Adorned with the youthfulness of a confident voice, Tsewang Norbu Palgyi Gyatso, In the northern direction of the hidden land of Padma, Sikkim, At the secret mountain, the abode of accomplished ones, On the twenty-third day of the Black Month of the Wood Rabbit year, Whatever arose in a single session was written down, The writing was done by his own disciple, Orgyen Tenzin Dorje. Mangalam (Tibetan, auspicious)! May it be virtuous! May it be virtuous! May it be virtuous! The Quintessence of Instructions: A Collection of Sutras and Tantras Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), Svasti (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वस्ति, Romanized Sanskrit: svasti, Literal Chinese meaning: Auspicious)! The Victorious One's teachings, Sutras, Tantras, and the words of the accomplished Gurus, If practiced, they are all oral instructions. What is the use of me saying something new? However, I cannot refuse the request, so I will say a little. If I speak, this precious human body with leisure and opportunity, Is as difficult to find as an Udumbara flower, Death is uncertain, and it will come quickly, Make this leisure and opportunity meaningful, strive in Dharma. Even if you have faith in Dharma, in this degenerate age, due to friends and circumstances, You are often drawn into non-Dharma paths. Therefore, rely on Dharma-abiding friends, and examine your own faults. Study the biographies of the Kagyu Gurus with careful consideration. Have unwavering faith in the infallible law of karma in all Dharmas. Knowing well the root essence of all Mantrayana Dharmas, Generate unwavering devotion and Samaya (vow) to the Lama, Without regard for body or life. Abide in the great sound of the nature of reality, Mahamudra, In the uncorrected, natural state of your own mind, Without distraction, rely on continuous mindfulness, There is no other way, strive in this day and night, cycle after cycle. In between sessions, have compassion for beings and benefit others, Always make good aspirations with heartfelt sincerity. Gods
