Meaning: This self-appearing awareness is the Dharmakaya. The wise consider it to be primordial innate wisdom. However, at all times, one must abandon acceptance and rejection, adjustments, expectations and doubts about right and wrong, going forward and relying on something, and so on. Abandoning these, without distraction, without cultivation, abiding in one's own nature, one will attain the realization of the stainless reality. By utilizing its effectiveness through the seven special key points, it is known as the supreme Great Perfection Tögal. Through the three spaces, four lamps, self-aware awareness, and the object of the awareness lineage, the four visions of enjoyment manifest, thereby delivering everything into the expanse of Samantabhadra's intention, which is the supreme path. It is dissimilar to the winds and signs of the five stages, six yogas, and so on, and is even more supreme. Therefore, by striving to practice the three immovables and three abidings, one will definitely attain Buddhahood in this lifetime. That is the essential core of practice. To assist it, by cultivating the instructions of the three—channels, bindus, and winds—with a non-attached view, warmth will quickly arise. Thus, Kunzang Yongdrol, the definite meaning Great Perfection yogi who dwells in the snowy mountains of Bule, who has turned away from attachment to this life, for the sake of the auspicious vase, incense chamber, Buddha image, and so on, and at the request of the Dokham person, the son of Padmasambhava, the Vidyadhara, the Gyalrongpa known as Tsewang Norbu, wrote these words as they came to him in the early morning of the first day of the Iron Pig year (1851). The scribe was the novice monk Palbar. May there be auspiciousness! May the sublime intention be as white as the moon, may the light of the verses, like nectar, fill the lotus hearts of fortunate disciples, and may the fragrance of virtue spread far and wide! Instructions of Fearless Wisdom Om Svasti! Younger brother of the noble son of the glorious Lama lineage, adorned with the saffron robes of the Buddha's teachings, the Bhikshu named Vajra in Hand (Vajrapani), I offer this advice to my own disciple: In all the realms where sentient beings exist in the three thousand worlds, there are many bodiless beings who merge into the space at the tip of a hair. Among sentient beings, it is difficult to obtain a good basis of leisure and endowment again and again, so generate a deep understanding of this. All of existence, both the container and its contents, are impermanent, and from birth until now, all beings—enemies, friends, and neutrals—will die, and you yourself will die quickly, so contemplate impermanence at all times. Fame in this life.

All the bustling gatherings, Quickly vanish like a dream upon waking. Without attachment to them, aspire to eternal bliss, From the depths of your heart, strive in the sacred Dharma. The root of all Dharmas lies in cause and effect, Apart from cause and effect, there is no other Dharma. Regarding virtuous and non-virtuous actions, do not err in accepting or rejecting, Constantly urge yourself on. The measure of the Buddha's teachings abiding is the Vinaya, Its essence is the discipline of individual liberation. Therefore, rejoice in attaining the state of a Bhikshu, Rather than obtaining the kingship of the three realms. In this degenerate age, using bad examples as an excuse, Indulging in the promiscuous use of women and alcohol, Is forbidden by all the guides who have come in the past, present, and future, Therefore, abandon it and always rely on armor. The activities of mantra, readily obtaining the innate, Symbols, not fabricated for special purposes, not at inappropriate times, If mantra forbids it, why should Sutra need to mention it? Therefore, from the depths of your heart, keep women at a distance. When your own mind directly realizes the nature of reality, The wisdom of bliss and emptiness will arise simultaneously. Do not rely on the bliss of mingled semen and blood, Therefore, strive to accomplish the unchanging great bliss. The root of the swift path to Buddhahood in one lifetime, Lies in relying on a qualified Guru, First, seek him or her unerringly as explained in the Tantras, Having found him or her, strive to rely on him or her as explained in the Tantras. The life force of mantra is solely Samaya, Without hypocrisy, concealment, or pretense, Correct both the Dharma and your own mind, Strive constantly like a flawless crystal. Saying that the Guru is superior to all Buddhas, Is not just lip service, meditate on it from the depths of your heart. Serve him or her diligently with body, speech, and mind to please him or her, Keep the six-session prayer constantly in your heart. In Tibet and China, the profound and sacred Dharmas, The ultimate of all most secret teachings is Dzogchen, The direct teaching of the intention of Samantabhadra, Strive in practice, and you will definitely attain Buddhahood in one lifetime. What end is there to such words of expression? Even if you say many things, what is the benefit? If you keep it in your heart, even a few words, Will undoubtedly accomplish the perfection of both aims. Thus, regarding the vast ocean of one's own and others' tenets, When entering, have the ship of fearless wisdom. In the midst of the snowy mountains, known as a Vidyadhara, The peripatetic Tsewang Norbu, At the great Jetsun's practice place, Za'og Cave, Written in the White Sheep year.
