After being guided, the unmeditative being and Prince Pomprakpa, from the age of three, naturally became an unmeditative being. Guided by the Garuda Rasa, he realized non-duality in seven days. Yang Gon realized non-duality at the age of seven. Upon seeing the hermitage of the accomplished Orgyenpa's Gotshang, he immediately realized non-duality. It is said that Chupur Shakya Rinchen, from the age of three, arose with the realization of being free from elaboration. Similarly, many great beings of the New Schools and many treasure revealers of the Nyingma School, all simultaneously arose with the realization of non-duality, one taste, and non-meditation. Look at these amazing histories. Therefore, for a supreme individual, regarding the realization of non-duality, one taste, and non-meditation, shouldn't we abandon the slander that even with effort and hardship, it is useless? Especially, in this final age of the five degenerations, the image of the Vinaya teachings is merely famous scholars, the lamp of the Mahayana is dim like a dying person, and especially the era when the Dzogchen Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) subdues with compassion, as stated in the Nyingthig (Heart Essence), doesn't the assertion that realization will not arise in the degenerate age become the cause of one's own exhaustion? Furthermore, near Kathok (Monastery) in Dokham (Do and Kham regions), some who acknowledge incarnate beings say that they elevate fathers and sons to the position of great Tulkus (incarnate lamas), and also say, "He is a treasure revealer, and that is his son." Some lamas who hold names with fame and false titles, just by hearing and thinking about their Dharma teachings, feel that they do not accord with the true Dharma. Why can't they, like us, practice meditation for a lifetime, and turn their backs on hearing, thinking, and meditating? I have heard some express such sentiments. If that is said, then in both Tibet and China, countless scholars who are proficient in the five sciences have realized the fruition of generation and completion stages in this lifetime, dissolving into a mass of light. Look at the biographies of Padmasambhava and Nagarjuna. The wise meditate like a great Garuda bird reaching the shore, and the unwise meditate like a small bird flapping its wings. The Buddha said this, so hearing and thinking are the preliminaries to meditation. Please keep this in mind. From the Red Hat to the Black Hat and other great Tulkus, realization arises from birth. Look at how they display complete abilities, clairvoyance, and signs of accomplishment. Treasure revealers are like the rising sun, which cannot be covered by a stick, while false and foolish old

Only the physical form remains. Everything else is the essence of the radiant Great Perfection, The meaning of self and other, without deception, rests in conviction. Listening, contemplation, and secret mantras become the root of the Nyingma teachings, Even if scolded, please act as you please. In general, for the assemblies of ignorant beings, The wise do not examine, the nature is equanimity. Alas! I, an ignorant fool who has become an ordinary person, Even if I close my eyes to understanding the characteristics of Dharma, I follow the words of the victorious gurus, Speaking this part, pretending it is heartfelt. In short, whether realization arises or not, All of these are just nominal words, All nominal words are seen as outer husks. Secret mantra Dharma is the path of blessings, Blessings are the path of devotion, therefore, To the true guru, without error or confusion, Having received the instructions well, without impurity or adulteration, From the depths of your heart, send forth prayers, Blessings will spontaneously arise in the center of your heart. If devotion and faith do not arise from the heart towards the guru, Mere lip service prayers are meaningless noise. True realization is like desiring a king's throne. Saying "whether or not to follow the instructions," and Saying "whether or not there is prior training" is exhausting. Do not follow the words, contemplate the meaning of reality. Faith and respect are the root of Dharma, Loving-kindness and compassion are the foundation of Dharma, Cause and effect and vows are the life force of Dharma, Non-retrogression is the escort of Dharma. The essence of realization is primordial awareness, Knowing is self-knowing one's own knowing, This depends on the compassion of the guru for purification. This seeing is known as incomparable great wisdom. Realization and non-realization, this basis of comparison for the mind, Is the stain that obscures the essence of definitive meaning. Therefore, whether you realize or not, it is fine. For the uncorrected, naked, and bare self-awareness, Beyond abandoning and taking, hope and doubt, negation and affirmation, Sustained practice without distraction is the heart essence of the instructions. Speaking with the mouth, symbolizing with examples, And the analysis of the mind, judgments of right and wrong, All the terminologies of philosophical systems, At the time of true realization, are great lies. A person whose heart is infused with the guru's blessings, For the yogi who sees his own mind with his own mind, The sound of "seeing the truth of Dharma nature" is very loud. The footsteps of the old father Kagyu gurus, Are not far away, they are in one's own mind. For a long time
