After giving the ripening instructions, starting from mind-holding, gradually transforming the practice of contemplation, when the two, realization and offering, were completed, a precious copper vessel was filled with cool tea with a rich aroma, first the essence was bestowed, and finally the vessel was also bestowed, and the explanation of the three, abiding, moving, and knowing, was recognized as they are, and the blessing was given with the vajra speech. Through the blessing of the lama, before long, a firm belief in the mind-nature of abiding, moving, and knowing arose. At the end of that year, from the great vidyadhara Pema Mani's descendant, Rinpoche Kalsang Orgyen Tenzin, in order to welcome the omniscient Pema Lodro, who is like the pinnacle of a white stupa, to the seat of the protector of the Katok area in general and the southern Rekhe region in particular, the steward Chitrong Rolang was specially sent. Therefore, after consulting the root lama, we set out on an auspicious day, and gradually, like a river of gold melting into the blue sky, we crossed the clear river on a raft. In Salmai, the lama also came to greet us. At the first meeting, he recognized us as the previous vidyadhara, and placed all the people of that region, high and low, on the crown of their heads, and blessed them on the throne of the fearless lion with the glory of the two laws. After placing the auspicious seat of good fortune, he gave respectful prostrations and joyful hospitality, but I was unable to rise and return the prostrations, because at that time there was no Dharma connection. In general, I was a bit rebellious as a child, so I did not prostrate to lamas without Dharma connections until I was twenty-one years old. Why not prostrate to those who are not lamas? I heard that this is also the custom in India. The only benefit of doing so seems to be that I was born in a remote mountain valley. Later, because I went on pilgrimage to various places, even without Dharma connections, I had to perform various kinds of prostrations and return prostrations due to status and face-saving. Moreover, at the end of the Fire Horse year (1966) when I went on pilgrimage to Nepal, in order to occupy a humble position and purify pure appearances, I intended to...

For about three years, I diligently prostrated and returned prostrations to all lamas, regardless of their rank or status. Later, I couldn't maintain it and took a lower position. It would have been good if pure appearances without bias had been achieved, but since I couldn't maintain it in the end, the prostrations and return prostrations without considering status didn't become amazing, didn't look good on the surface, and I thought it was harmful to the fundamental connection. Nyangto Arya said that the earliest signs of aging start to appear around the age of twenty, which was golden advice. After that, I became attached as a servant to the lama and went to various villages in Jangchu. When I arrived in a secluded place, I received the blessings of the Tsedwang Gyalwa and other deities' empowerment torma. From then on, I did my best to "offer the first fruits to the lama." After that, I arrived at the sacred site of Tsanri. I stayed there throughout that winter and the following spring and summer, doing whatever immediate and necessary tasks I could, according to the lama's instructions. The monastic rules were corrupted by distractions, and even the little bit of practice I had before gradually disappeared. Moreover, at the age of thirteen, visions of deities related to emptiness appeared limitlessly, I constantly saw the forms of many non-humans, and my dreams were filled with one thing after another, so I was able to subdue many gods and demons, and the hidden aspects of good and bad became clear, etc. The obscurations were slightly lessened, and the power of the young and pure channels was beyond words. All of this was like oil smeared on a mirror, and since arriving at the monastery, it gradually began to decline. Although within the monastery I was in a miserable situation of being despised and ridiculed, from the outside, people regarded me as a lama and offered various kinds of wealth, which was certainly also a fault. In any case, many important things in this life were not achieved. Therefore, except for those who consciously take rebirth, ordinary people like me who are attached to self are given the name "incarnation." Those foolish and attached people gather together and proclaim, "This is the incarnation of our lama," "This is the incarnation of our ancestor," "This is the incarnation of our uncle," "This is the incarnation of our maternal uncle," and from the time the child is not yet weaned, they treat wealth as ransom, and whenever they grow up...
