來的時候，因為沒有能送行的人，從騎的馬上摔下來，損失了財物，丟失了東西。對於像我這樣沒有普遍轉世的人來說，唯一需要的法事，在那時候也發生了這樣奇妙的事情。從那以後，直到我十三歲時，從隱居後來成為法座的喇嘛噶桑處被召喚到法座之間，我連一次與他們見面都沒有。此外，還有很多類似的事情，都是由自己的前世業力和當下的因緣造成的。嗡（藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城體：ओम्，梵文羅馬擬音：oṃ，漢語字面意思：嗡），嘛呢（藏文：མ་ཎི་，梵文天城體：मणि，梵文羅馬擬音：maṇi，漢語字面意思：寶），貝美（藏文：པདྨེ་，梵文天城體：पद्मे，梵文羅馬擬音：padme，漢語字面意思：蓮花中），吽（藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城體：हुं，梵文羅馬擬音：hūṃ，漢語字面意思：吽），舍（藏文：ཧྲཱི，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：種子字）！ 高僧化身、異類傳承、智識名聲與授記， 自詡博學多聞、聰明睿智的眾多人士， 前後不一的武斷評斷， 除了展現自身特點外又有何意義？ 受偏見左右，讚美之詞毫無， 誹謗之語雖多，卻如山谷回音般消散。 若極度厭惡非造作、自然本性的 僅僅是化身之名聲， 那虛偽造作之物必將化為灰燼， 卻以喜悅笑容相迎，這真是豈有此理。 至尊上師蓮花生嘛呢， 雖以諸多殊勝功德而偉大， 然亦能容忍形態卑微、偏頗的邊緣。 願其安住於隱藏之態，成就者之姿！ 我乃不依賴他人，走自己道路之人， 背井離鄉，遊歷四方。 為何要花費價值來掩蓋那虛名？ 既然那名字並非我所使用， 對那虛名費心之人， 請各自隨意，費心勞神吧！ 如子繼承父業，如金鏈相傳， 能夠繼承並持有上師的傳記， 即使您總是責備我， 我確信自己的過錯，有何不滿？ 祖先是旃檀木，子孫卻是劣質柴， 在護持佛法者之後，卻是販賣佛法之人。 這樣的人詛咒我， 是何種品性，公正者一看便知。 祖先是販賣上師者，追隨前人的腳步， 不看自己如山般的過錯， 卻擅長用頭髮絲來衡量他人的過失， 對那樣的惡劣之徒，我因憐憫而流淚。 唉，輪迴的境況就是這樣， 將敵人視為親友，將親友視為敵人。 如被曼陀羅花所迷惑， 深思熟慮後，內心 निश्चित 感到厭倦。 唉，幻

When the time came to leave, there was no one to see me off, so I fell off the horse I was riding, lost my wealth, and lost my belongings. Even for someone like me who doesn't have a common reincarnation, the only Dharma service I needed also had such a strange occurrence. From then on, until I was thirteen years old, I was summoned to the throne from Lama Kalsang, who was in seclusion and later became the abbot, I didn't even meet them once. Furthermore, there are many similar stories that are the result of one's own past karma and present circumstances. If one extremely hates the non-artificial, natural nature of merely the name of an emanation, then those that are artificial will surely be reduced to ashes, yet welcomes with a joyful smile, this is truly absurd. The venerable lama Pema Mani, though great with many excellent qualities, can also tolerate the humble and crooked edges. May he reside in a hidden state, an accomplished one's posture! I am one who does not rely on others, walking my own path, leaving my homeland behind, traveling the country. Why should one spend value to cover up that empty name? Since that name is not used by me, those who bother about that empty name, please do as you please, take the trouble! Like a son inheriting his father's business, like a golden chain passed down, able to inherit and hold the biography of the previous master, even if you always scold me, I am sure of my own faults, what dissatisfaction is there? Ancestors were sandalwood, descendants are inferior firewood, in the place of Dharma holders, there are Dharma sellers. That such people curse me, what kind of character is it, the impartial will see clearly. Ancestors were lama sellers, following in the footsteps of their predecessors, not looking at their own faults like a mountain, but skilled at measuring others' faults with a strand of hair, for such evil people, I shed tears of compassion. Alas, the state of samsara is like this, seeing enemies as friends and friends as enemies. Like being intoxicated by the Datura flower, after careful consideration, the heart definitely feels weary.
