确实如此。然而如今不加考察，只是一味追随愚昧的名声罢了。除此之外，对于转世为大德高僧的化身，那些具备贤善品质，成为一切上师的人，则不可妄加评判。否则，仅仅根据是否转世这一点来判断，如果今生没有完全清净地持守三戒，圆满三种智慧的才能，不求私利，以利他之心努力弘扬佛法，能够示现解脱之道，像这样的人，自己发出声音，进入大成就者的足迹，有缘者聚集，无缘者离散，对于预言的好坏，没有任何可以评判的，即使评判了，也无法进行辩驳。 说道： 有些是名声显赫的转世， 深思熟虑，屡屡行利他之事， 显现为众生的上师， 怎能不赞美这样的圣者？ 有些人圆满了三学的才能， 自然获得了二利的成就， 毫不动摇地守护着佛法的命脉， 无疑是人中的狮子。 即使不是这样，但如果完全符合 莲花生大士的圆满正等觉之教言， 无论做什么，都自然是智慧的显现。 如是说。 如此，我们这些被称为转世者的人，如果现在获得了暇满人身，却没有虚度，没有按照佛陀的教导行持佛法，那么对于记得模糊的转世，自己对自己生起定解，也不足为奇。如果仅仅记得模糊的转世就有利益，那么有些普通人转世为马、牛、乌鸦等，还有些尼泊尔南部的人记得自己转世为大蟒蛇和大象等，以及转世为人后清楚地记得财产、亲戚等等，我本人也见过很多。如果这些人今生不修持佛法，那么连菩提心的百分之一都无法接近，这是显而易见的。比起这种肤浅的转世，外道瑜伽士中有些具有强大力量的人，据说能记得八万劫的转世，但因为没有证悟无我，所以不能成为菩提之因。因此，仅仅记得一些模糊的转世

It is indeed so. However, nowadays, without investigation, people only blindly follow foolish fame. Apart from that, it is not permissible to judge those who are reborn as great and virtuous beings, those who possess virtuous qualities and become the lamas of all. Otherwise, judging solely on the basis of whether or not they are reborn, if in this life they do not perfectly maintain the three vows, perfect the skills of the three wisdoms, strive to benefit others and propagate the Buddha's teachings with selfless devotion, and are able to demonstrate the path of liberation, then such people, who make their own voices heard and enter the footsteps of great achievers, those with fortune gather, those without fortune scatter. There is nothing to judge about the good or bad of prophecies, and even if judged, one cannot manifest the power of refutation. It is said: Some are famous rebirths, Deliberately and repeatedly performing deeds for the benefit of others, Manifesting as the lamas of all beings, How can one not praise such noble beings? Some have perfected the skills of the three trainings, Naturally attaining the accomplishment of both benefits, Unyieldingly holding the lifeline of the Buddha's teachings, Undoubtedly, they are lions among humans. Even if it is not like that, but if it completely accords with The teachings of the perfectly enlightened Buddha Padmasambhava, Whatever they do is naturally a manifestation of wisdom. Thus it is said. Therefore, we who are known as reincarnations, if we have now obtained this leisure and opportunity, and do not waste it, and do not act in accordance with the Buddha's teachings, then it is not surprising to have a vague memory of a past life, and to gain certainty for oneself. If merely remembering a vague past life were beneficial, then some ordinary people would be reborn as horses, cows, crows, etc., and some people in southern Nepal remember being reborn as large pythons and elephants, etc., and many people remember clearly their wealth, relatives, etc. from their past lives as humans, which I myself have seen. If these people do not practice the Dharma in this life, then they will not even come close to a fraction of a percent of the essence of enlightenment, which is evident. Compared to such superficial rebirths, some powerful non-Buddhist yogis are said to remember as many as eighty thousand kalpas of rebirths, but because they have not realized selflessness, they cannot become a cause for enlightenment.
