Although there was a saying that the god Potang Lha and the oath-bound Vajra Legs should establish an auspicious connection in Tibet to prevent border wars, now, due to the faults of ordinary people like myself, I am certain that this will not be effective, so I leave it as it is. After that, several Buddha statues were built in Gyantse. And with virtuous generosity, some of the lower-class people in that area were made happy, and they were made to take an oath not to kill iron snakes for three years, and reliable people were entrusted as witnesses. From that time on, the appearance of battles between gods and demons in Tibet did not seem too intense for a few days. In the past, those of this kind that were intense would cause disputes immediately or after a while. However, it subsided somewhat for a while. After that, the place of the self-arisen footprints, known as the entrance of the Sokpa, was opened, and although ordinary people regarded the treasure place of Dorje Lingpa as being similar to Zaphuk Lung, in reality, it was a branch of Zaphuk, so I did as much as I could to perform the gathering offering. At that time, I seemed to be disturbed by the chaos of Chinese ghosts and demons, but I did not care and took it as an aid to practice. In fact, for those who were seeking the Dharma, I explained the Six Dharmas of Gu Chu and so on, and through Vulture Peak, I went to the pastures of Ala Puk and Baya, etc., to perform longevity empowerment and Mani merit encouragement. During this time, I did not accept much of the offerings given by others, and what little I did accept was used for setting up the tenth-day Dharma assembly and the six-syllable mantra along the way, as a means of practice and offering. From Gyantse, I went to Nepal and India, where there is the great self-arisen stupa called "Swayambhu Chaitya" by the Nepalese, which is said to have been transformed from the light of the white hair between the eyebrows of Shakyamuni Buddha. This is the word of our teacher, and there are many treatises that follow it, and there is still a catalog in Nepal today. In the past, the great scholar Vasubandhu also went from Central China to Nepal to see the self-arisen stupa, as recorded in historical sources. Jowo Je Palden Atisha also pretended to visit the self-arisen stupa when he went to Tibet. Such things are well known in the holy land, and there were also wise and accomplished people who went to Tibet during that time.

The stupa mentioned in the Langru Prophecy Sutra, identified as Goma Sala Gandham, known throughout Tibet as Holy Victory Tree, is in a state of extreme disrepair and decay. Although a long time has passed since the desire to repair it arose, and since Jari Kamshoma completed the restoration. Sometimes due to one's own misjudgment, and sometimes due to the changes of the times, it has been repeatedly delayed. This year, because the materials were not prepared in advance, it is difficult to complete the restoration as desired, but if the crooked tree of life can be straightened, and the gold and copper canopy can be slightly repaired, it is known that the benefits are inconceivable. Therefore, regardless of the approaching season, the unsuitable water and soil, and the unbearable heat, in order to please all the Buddhas, disregarding one's own life and limb, the decision was made to go to Nepal. Until the time of departure, most of the items donated by the faithful were taken into possession, and efforts were made to exchange them for gold and silver. On the way, offerings were made to the Jonang Kumbum Monastery, and some services were provided to the monastic community. During this time, at the retreat place of Gepu, to the Vajra Master who resides in the place of secret practice, the holder of the lineage of one hundred teachings that I have received, and who has requested the maturation of the Six Yogas of Kalachakra, I respectfully prostrated to the relics of the Great Compassionate Victor, and for seven days, made offerings to the best of my ability, and practiced the outer, inner, and secret Ganachakra as described in the tantras. Previously, I had made some subtle observations on how the wisdom of the ultimate solitude of mind arises. Although I did not have a real experience or realization here, a correct understanding that eliminates doubts arose in my mind. I became even more convinced of the blessings of offering to the relics of the Lama, and learned that the King of Nepal and the King of Gorkha of Ribrak would not prevent the restoration of the Holy Victory Tree, and they happily sent letters offering a small amount of help. Passing through Lhatse Gyantse, I arrived at the foot of Shiri (Auspicious Mountain) of Lhatö Gyal, which is one of the thirteen auspicious mountains of Jambudvipa. At that time, I clearly saw the forms of the great worldly deity Six-Faced Youth and Ganesha manifest, and it seemed that they were the deities who especially controlled the land of Nepal, and I wondered if this was an auspicious sign that I had to go to Nepal. Previously, when I was staying in Tsurphu.
