It is said that when (I) returned from Ü-Tsang, the turquoise offerings from Tölung (Stod-lung) were mostly accepted, leaving about a bre. Nevertheless, now the daily necessities near the stupa, such as grains, food, butter lamps, khatas, and all kinds of things, as well as all that is suitable for eating and drinking, are freely used by monkeys and dogs alike. In the future, those narrow-minded people who disregard the fear of war on the borders and in the center, as well as the consequences of karma, seeing that the high lamas consider this to make the stupa unsightly and even lead to damage, therefore, as before, they remade the uncarved vase and a bre of copper gold. On the four sides of the four luminous sides, many Buddha images were painted, as well as portraits of some Indian siddhas, with labels attached. On the four sides of the bre, four victory banners were newly installed. Previously, during the restoration by siddha Tsangnyön Heruka pa, Drakkarwa Lhatsun Rinchen Namgyal, and Neramwa Jampa Phuntsok, it is said that there were four pillars used to support the golden umbrella on the lotus seat below the Dharma wheel, but this time only thirteen Dharma wheels and umbrella covers are needed, and no extra four pillars are needed. In order to make the characteristics of the stupa complete, and for the sake of harmonious beauty in appearance, therefore, four pillars are not needed. At this time, it is said that there is a natural stone statue considered to be the protector of the great stupa, called "Böthang Gonpo" (Bod-thang Mgon-po). Some believe it to be an emanation of Avalokiteśvara. In any case, it is said that it was formerly located on a mountain called Phullaḍo near Yerang (Ye-rang), and actually flew from the sky to Böthang (Bod-thang), hence it is called Böthang Gonpo. It is said that during the Durushka war in Nepal, someone cut the shoulder of the Gonpo statue with a sword, and it was gradually restored later. In front of this statue of Gonpo holding a curved knife, many bags of rice were piled up, and a large torma was offered, decorated with red ornaments made of many pieces of meat. And a extensive hymn called "The Sound of Wishes Naturally Fulfilled" (bzhed don lhun gyis grub pa'i dbyangs) was composed, as well as a slightly shorter version. As mentioned in the biography orally transmitted before writing, a great master named Loro Tulku (Lo-ro sprul pa'i sku) was (my) close attendant.
