If we do this, we will feel at peace for a few years, so although we speak frankly about the matter, we feel it is difficult to listen to. We repeatedly said that the reason for the peace and stability of all the uncles and nephews in this area is due to the power granted by the command of the omniscient Gyalwang. The lord of Mar yul was also very satisfied, so for the sake of his teachings, he intends to establish a permanent residence for monks at De-go, Be-thub, and Tri-tse monasteries, which is being done by Gyalsay Rinpoche. Although there are not many material offerings, we remember the kindness of Shabpad. To express our gratitude, under the jurisdiction of Upper Ladakh, the brother who is currently a high-ranking official in the castle, who has been appointed as the lama of Drikung Monastery, and the minister of Mulbe, etc., will thoroughly understand the situation once they arrive at my camp. In this way, we have reported the general situation of our own affairs in this area without concealment. And so on. From the central government, in order to resolve the matter satisfactorily, orders were issued continuously, and the horse relay stations continued without interruption. Gold and silver gifts, and many fine silks, etc., were given. During the Labching, gifts were given to the envoys of the border states such as Kashmir and Nabab, and to the king and ministers of Ladakh, respectively. Almost all of the gifts that needed to be given were covered by his own personal belongings, and on top of that, whatever was needed was supplemented from the gifts bestowed by the central government, without wasting even a single thread. He himself offered priceless Upper Mongolian fine silks and a considerable number of gold coins, karshapanas (Sanskrit: karṣāpaṇa) from India and Kashmir, as offerings for repeated reports to Tsegong Shabpad and to all the ministers in Lhasa. In particular, in order to make this great achievement of satisfactory resolution an auspicious occasion for making extensive prayers in the presence of the Gyalwang, he offered a material mandala and returned the items bestowed by the central government, together with a petition. This is because the Gyalwang, considering the welfare of all beings, sent him to this place, the letters from the journey and from the past.
