My name is Kunchok, and I once approached my uncle. During a brief meeting, he joyfully placed me on the upper seat. He offered me the best from the food he was enjoying, and regardless of whether I was the reincarnation he was seeking, he treated me, as a tender sprout, with the respect befitting my previous status, showing shame and a sense of honor. His actions were undoubtedly unique to him. Furthermore, to entice me as a child, he had a painting of Guru Padmasambhava drawn on the seat and initiated many conversations based on my recollection of past lives. Due to this, I have known and remembered various methods of practicing the instructions of the Clear Light Vajra Essence since that time, and I still hold it in my heart as a way to inspire faith. Nowadays, most people seem to regard the center of a gathering as a place to flaunt wealth and show off, but I have been repeatedly and emphatically warned by the Bhagavan Glorious Samantabhadra and the supreme vidyadhara Garab Dorje to keep this extremely secret. If I were to reveal it, I would vomit blood and die, and fearing the curse of remaining in the Vajra Hell for seven million eons, I have never spoken of this matter from childhood until now. In general, if one holds the words of the Buddha to be true, then this curse must be regarded as extremely serious. So he said. At that time, he completely transcended the behavior of ordinary children, spending his time solely by practicing deities, reciting mantras, meditating, extracting profound treasures, opening the gates of sacred places, and giving empowerments and teachings in the midst of his retinue. In particular, he often said, "I am the monk Namkhai Nyingpo, and my practice place is Khar-chu in Lhodrak." In addition, he fluently recounted many memories of past lives. In visions, experiences, and dreams, the guru dakinis would bestow blessings, and he often saw gods, demons, spirits, and non-humans. Once, when he was with a group of children, he also saw a white boy with a high topknot, who was giving him empowerment with a golden vase filled with nectar. However, for those in the degenerate age with impure minds, shrouded in the haze of wrong views, the saints who have been proven to be authentic

They intensely hate, belittle, and insult virtuous spiritual friends and those who practice the Dharma properly. They regard any individual who engages in non-virtuous and perverse conduct, regardless of their status, as supreme. They also presumptuously claim that those who appear as incarnate forms are not who they seem, and vice versa, driven by intense motivations of biased clinging. This kind of activity is spreading and flourishing everywhere. At that time, many people, both high and low, were saying that this Jetsun was not the reincarnation of Rigdzin Pema Mani. As stated in biographies such as the "Mother and Son Lamrim," various forms of slander arose from distorted views that turned away from faith and aspiration. At that time, Tak Ra Rinpoche Kalsang Orgyen Tenzin, the lineage holder of the previous Rigdzins, recognized him from the beginning without any doubt. Padma Dechen Lingpa, the uncontested great Tertön and reincarnation of Vairochana, had prophesied him before he was even conceived in the womb, as mentioned earlier. Especially at this time, he had no doubt that this was the reincarnation of Dro Dul Pema Mani, and he humbly wondered what else he could be, saying, "What else could he be?" Along with these words, Pema Kara conferred the empowerment of the regent of the kingdom. "By the power of aspiration, may you uphold the life force of the Buddha's teachings. May you, the incarnate Rigdzin who tames beings through your activities, be blessed with the glory of Tshewang Norbu." He also bestowed this verse of supplication. In the Rithang Menchok, it is recorded: "Not long after that, when he went to and stayed in a place called Doram, due to seeing some thangkas of the lineage of Tertön lamas, at one point, one day, during a children's game, he split a barley stalk in half, and in one half, the five accomplished beings, Tertön Rinpoche Ratna Lingpa, Shigpo Lingpa, Nuden Dorje, Longsal Nyingpo, and Taksham Dorje, appeared sitting in a row, their forms very clear. How could this be a direct vision? It was not like an empty image either. The clarity was so vivid in his own mind that now it seems like the arising of the clear appearance of the generation stage. But at that time, there was no concept of clear appearance, so in any case, it was amazing. In reality, it was their blessing."

I suspect this was a sign of receiving blessings. In addition to the above, I vaguely feel that there are some others, but because I can't remember them clearly, I can't say them. Also, at that time, almost all the time, the image of Guru Padmasambhava appeared clearly in my mind, especially similar to the general image of Guru Padmasambhava, with his right hand in the earth-touching mudra, his left hand in the meditation mudra holding a kapala bowl, and a khatvanga (खाट्वाङ्ग, khaṭvāṅga, club-staff) tucked under his elbow, this image appeared repeatedly for about a year. Although this was not visible to the naked eye, it appeared as clearly in my mind as if I had seen it with my own eyes. At the end of the fifth year, I began to learn Tibetan spelling from the Supreme Wheel-Turning Protector Vajradhara, and after that, with only slight guidance from the elders, I effortlessly mastered the current level of reading ability by the time I was six years old. At the age of six, in the spring of that year, I followed my uncle to Khrogyal Monastery (Khro rgyal dgon), and after returning to my hometown, due to various other factors, I had to wander around, living in no fixed place. During that time, I also experienced various sufferings of hunger, thirst, heat, and cold. When I was seven years old, the Supreme Wheel-Turning Protector was also invited to Swo Chirong Rolam Monastery (bswo lci rong rol lam dgon) in Lower Rekhe (re khe smad). We dependents also began to live there. At that time, around the age of seven or eight, I recited and memorized the ritual text "Garland of Jewels" (nor bu'i phreng ba) of the glorious Hayagriva Vajrakilaya to eliminate obstacles. Initially, some signs of accomplishment appeared, but later, because I did not continue the practice, the signs of accomplishment disappeared. Therefore, it should be said that from childhood, one should not only practice one yidam, but we did not have anyone to teach us this, which was a drawback. At the age of eight, in general, at the age of eight, I experienced various kinds of dreams, and in particular, various signs of opening and not opening the door to the profound treasures of the great Orgyen (o rgyan) in this life appeared clearly. That year
