There are three, the first being 'unthinkable,' which means: Because it cannot be examined, because it cannot be spoken, it is unthinkable because it is known by the noble ones. As it says, this shows that only the self-cognition of the noble ones can realize it, and it is not something that ordinary beings can contemplate. Secondly, 'non-duality' means the non-duality of karma and afflictions. Thirdly, 'non-conceptual' means being free from all conceptualizations of inappropriate attention, or conceptualizations of existence and non-existence, right and wrong, and so on. The qualities of the truth of the path are: As it says, the three, such as purity, are like the sun. As it says, just as the orb of the sun is completely pure, the sun illuminates objects, and the sun dispels darkness, possessing three distinct qualities in one, so too is the truth of the path considered to have three natures: its essence is primordially pure, it illuminates the nature of all phenomena, which is suchness, and it acts as an antidote that dispels the obscurations of afflictions. It is regarded as having three qualities. The Sangha Jewel possesses eight qualities of realization and liberation. As it says: Because of the wisdom seeing the suchness and the extent, the inner, the assembly of the wise who do not turn back, possess unsurpassed qualities. As it says, among the six qualities of realization and liberation, the first three are the qualities of realization: suchness, extent, and self-cognition. First, the quality of realization of suchness is: Suchness is the nature of reality, and the nature of reality is the meaning of the two selflessnesses. As it says: Because of realizing the peaceful nature of reality of beings, suchness is also that. As it says, all beings, from the very beginning, are empty of the two forms of selflessness, the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of persons. Seeing this as it is, is the realization of suchness. This is possessed by the noble bodhisattvas from the first ground onwards. Secondly, the quality of knowing the extent is: As it says: Because of seeing that the nature of reality of all-knowingness exists in all sentient beings, the extent is also that. As it says, the nature of reality, the Sugata-garbha, inherently pervades all sentient beings, and seeing with self-cognizant wisdom that all beings possess the Sugata-garbha is the wisdom of seeing the extent possessed by the noble bodhisattvas. Thirdly, the quality of self-cognition is:

Furthermore, what is such realization? It is the seeing of each individual's self-awareness. Thus, the realization of the path that transcends the world by these two kinds of wisdom is not shared with others, but is seen by the wisdom of self-awareness of the noble ones, that is, the three qualities of awareness. Similarly, the three qualities of liberation are: From this, "There is no attachment to the stainless space, it is pure because it is unobstructed." Therefore, since the bodhisattva is liberated from attachment, obstruction, inferiority, the three obscurations, or the three obscurations of afflictions, knowledge, and meditative absorption, he is also the nature of liberation. In this regard, according to the uncommon tenet of the Prasangika school, according to the tenet that does not establish the abandonment of the obscuration of knowledge from the first to the seventh ground, if it is a Mahayana bodhisattva, it is necessary to establish that it possesses the eight qualities of awareness and liberation, so it seems difficult to establish until the eighth ground is attained. However, according to our own system, the abandonment of what is to be seen on the first ground is the imputed part of afflictions and knowledge, and from the second ground onwards, the way of abandoning the innate part of afflictions and knowledge, etc., the great chariot of the Mahayana have gathered such views into one without contradiction, and from that aspect, it is possible to establish various qualities of liberation, that is, the Sangha Jewel is thus endowed with the eight qualities of awareness and liberation. The reason why such a jewel must be established in three ways is, as stated in the Uttaratantra, "The teacher, the teaching, and the meaning of learning, the three vehicles and the three doers, depending on the faith of all beings, therefore the difference of the three jewels is established." That is, for those who seek and wish to attain the fruit of the teacher Buddha, and for those who specifically seek the teacher Buddha and wish to accumulate merit, and for those who believe that the Buddha is the best of the two-legged ones, depending on the wishes of these people, the teacher Buddha is established as the refuge. In addition, for some Pratyekabuddha lineage people who wish to understand the nature of profound dependent origination, and for those who have no attachment to the Dharma, depending on those who believe that the Dharma is the best, the Dharma is established as the refuge. Also, for those of the Shravaka lineage who wish to attain the nature of the four pairs and eight types, and rely on the Sangha Jewel.
