Through the infallible power, and one's own pure intention, and the supreme bodhicitta, and the strength of such pure aspirations that have been planted, and all the merits accumulated in the past, and all the merits that will be accumulated in the future, through the power of all the roots of virtue done and accumulated in the three times. All these aspirations that I have made now, including the complete possession of the field, may all of them be definitely accomplished for the benefit of all sentient beings, so I pray from the bottom of my heart. I pray to the Victorious One, Amitabha! Please hold us with compassion, O Lord Avalokiteshvara! Please bless us, Prince Mahasthamaprapta! Please lead the way, countless hosts of Bodhisattvas! Please lead us to that field with the light of wisdom, I pray! Please lead us to that field with the light of compassion, I pray! Please lead us to that field with the light of activity, I pray! Please lead us to that field with the light of aspiration, I pray! Now, such Victorious Protector Amitabha, and the eldest son of the Buddha, Prince Arya Akshayamati, and the secret lord Mahasthamaprapta, to invoke the mind-streams of these three, uniting the three doors, with strong faith and longing, from the bottom of my heart with great reverence. I pray to the Victorious One, Amitabha! Look upon us with compassion, O Lord Avalokiteshvara, the master of great impartial love, and please bless us, Prince Mahasthamaprapta, the master of the power of activity, calling out with longing. With the wisdom light of the three lords of the field, who are the embodiment of immeasurable compassion, blessings, activity, power, and a sea of aspirations, may the stains of the two obscurations be removed, and may the appearance of uncontaminated joy and bliss be bestowed, I pray that all sentient beings, including myself, be led to that supreme pure land of Sukhavati. With the light of compassion, may all sentient beings, including myself, be led to Sukhavati. With the light of activity, may all sentient beings, including myself, be led to that pure land of Sukhavati. With the light of aspiration, may all sentient beings, including myself, be led to that field. In the mandala of the Buddhas, known as the Great Bliss Field, the Blessed One, the Protector

Limitless Light, Wisdom Essence, Father and Son, at your feet, May I and others, upon death, be reborn there. In the pure and supreme realm of Sukhavati in the West, Famous throughout all the worlds of the ten directions, In the Buddha's pure land, Before the feet of the Bhagavan, the Protector, Limitless Light and Immeasurable Life, And the Bodhisattva Wisdom Essence, Father and Son, May I and others, immediately upon the passing of life, without interruption by other births, Be reborn there. In that realm of Sukhavati, which is particularly superior to other Buddha-fields, Through the power of the aspiration of the Buddhas who previously embraced the pure land, If we ordinary beings also accomplish the four causes for being born in the realm of Sukhavati, Then there is no doubt that we will certainly be born in that realm. The reason for this is that in the sutra on the arrangement of the realm of Limitless Light, it says: "Irreversible Bodhisattvas, fully accomplished, seventy-two billion nayutas, Will be born from these Buddha-fields into the world of Sukhavati, Having generated roots of virtue in billions of hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, If they fully accomplish irreversibility, then what need is there to mention those with even greater roots of virtue?" Because it is embraced by the aspiration of the Buddhas like this, Even from this world of suffering, seventy-two billion nayutas of beings Will be born in that western realm of Sukhavati, embraced by the aspiration of the Buddhas. Therefore, we too should accomplish the four causes for being born in Sukhavati, And make aspirations, and have faith in them, And devote ourselves to them with one-pointedness. There, may we also perfect the realization of samadhi, Manifest the Dharmakaya, and for the sake of sentient beings to be tamed by other appearances, Fulfill their intentions according to their minds, And liberate all beings through immeasurable deeds. May I and others be born in the realm of Sukhavati with such immeasurable qualities, And immediately upon being born in that realm, may we also have one-pointed samadhi, And pure wisdom, and unfailing dharani, and so on, Completing all the qualities of the stages and paths, And ultimately realizing the suchness.
