That is the meaning of... The wisdom of the true noble equipoise is not visible to the mundane. How did Jamyang Khyentse say it? If something visible to the mundane can be understood as completely exclusive, then it must be a thing, he said. So, what contradiction is there between these two? Mipham Rinpoche said that it cannot be understood as completely exclusive, saying that it cannot be understood through the way of being completely exclusive to the mundane. The incarnation said that establishing it through the way of complete exclusion, if we explain Chandrakirti's intention based on the meaning of the vision of equipoise wisdom, then it is not visible to the mundane. Furthermore, Lama Mipham Rinpoche's saying is: It is called individual self-awareness. Individual means the meaning of not being mixed with others, self means that the nature of those objects is not mistaken, and awareness means seeing, so in summary, like the eye consciousness that knows pots etc., the mundane cannot know this, but this unique wisdom that knows itself is the object of a unique mind. As it is said, saying that it cannot be understood as completely exclusive, it is said that like the eye consciousness that knows pots etc., the mundane wisdom cannot know this. According to the views of Chandrakirti and the Tibetan incarnation, the true object of vision etc., and the wisdom of suchness equipoise beyond thought. According to the meaning of what is said, this unique wisdom that knows itself is shown to be the object of a unique mind. In short, if we think about the meaning of "if something visible to the mundane can be understood as completely exclusive, then it must be a thing," we can well distinguish the views that are not contradictory. Q: 7) In the Entering the Middle Way, what are the prior proponent and the way the three consequences arise in the phrase "If self-nature is relied upon"? A: 7) In the Entering the Middle Way, the three consequences mentioned in "If self-nature is relied upon, because it is destroyed, things should be destroyed, then emptiness becomes the cause of destruction" etc., some scholars think that it was said to the Mind-Only school. But according to our own system, glorious Chandrakirti establishes it as the uncommon three reasons for refuting the Svātantrika. The way the consequences arise is: As mentioned earlier, when glorious Chandrakirti establishes the ultimate truth, for anything that gives rise to grasping at reality, such as the names of pillars, pots, etc...

Having entered this appearance, it is determined to be unborn, and the Middle Way of neither of the two truths being born is taught. Even when the Svatantrika school determines the ultimate truth, it does not negate the phenomena of conventional self-character, but establishes it. Therefore, just as the ultimate truth is determined, the wisdom that directly realizes the ultimate truth must also take it as its object in the same way. If, when determining the ultimate truth, the establishment of conventional self-character is not negated but left as it is, then where would there be the phenomena of conventional self-character in the face of the samadhi, such as the noble non-conceptual wisdom, the vajra-like samadhi? The noble non-conceptual wisdom is like a hammer, and your conventional self-character is like a vase. In this way, just as a hammer shatters a vase, it becomes the cause of its destruction, and there would be such a fault. Furthermore, the conventional truth would become amenable to rational analysis, and the two, that the ultimate truth does not negate birth, if the conventional self-character is established when determining the ultimate truth, then these two faults will arise, and one can understand this by careful analysis. Just as Jamgon Lama said that these two are ways of determining the ultimate truth, I think it mainly lies in this promise of not negating the conventional self-character when determining the ultimate truth. Question. 8) According to your own system, where is the ultimate boundary of the three causes and the resulting Bodhisattva? (8) Answer. Generally speaking, if I were to clearly point out what our own system is, I don't know, but just as a reference, my own idea is: The three causes of a Bodhisattva are: the mind of compassion, the wisdom of non-duality, and the mind of enlightenment. If it is said that both the mind of compassion and the mind of enlightenment are the uncommon causes of a Bodhisattva, then only the wisdom of non-duality is common to the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Therefore, the glorious Chandrakirti said: Even in the state of an ordinary being, upon hearing about emptiness, great joy arises again and again in the mind. Tears arising from great joy moisten the eyes, and the hairs of the body stand on end. Whoever has these phenomena has the seed of the wisdom of the complete Buddha. Therefore, as a sign of having the uncommon Buddha-nature, when hearing about emptiness, one experiences great joy, the hairs of the body stand on end, and tears flow from the eyes, etc., from which one can infer that the Buddha-nature has awakened.
