If you ask how to establish the truth of the path without contradiction? Is it thought that the Kunbtus school also considers the two, accumulation and junction, as part of the truth of the path? The Abhidharmakosha says: Except for the three paths of seeing, meditation, and no more learning, the other two, accumulation and junction, are not established as the truth of the path, just like the uncontaminated root. In the Kunbtus, the five are established as the truth of the path with the door of the retinue. Is it thought that only the uncontaminated itself is established in the Abhidharmakosha, and it is made the main part of the truth of the path? Question 5: What is the definition of karma according to the Kosha system? (Answer 5:) In general, the definition must be free from three faults, but it is not mentioned in Chim Che Chung, etc., so I cannot explain it clearly myself. However, to provide you with a basis for research, I will say this: There are two types of karma: mental karma and intentional karma. Mental karma is when, initially, whatever karma it may be, the mind moves the object of mind, so that karma is accumulated. Therefore, assuming that it is a part of the contaminated cause, is it permissible to call any part of the contaminated cause that is mainly mental karma? Or, is it permissible to call any part of the contaminated cause that is aroused by the mind? Nine questions about Madhyamaka. Question 1: How do the statements in the Kosha, the Commentary on the Ornament, and the Differentiation of Views on how Svatantrika and Prasangika establish the two truths as one or different not contradict each other? (Answer 1:) In general, the Kosha extensively explains the Buddhist schools, and extensively explains the systems of Madhyamaka Svatantrika and Prasangika. In the section on Svatantrika, the four faults of the two truths being one or different are explained in detail. Regarding the two truths of Madhyamaka Prasangika, the Bodhicitta Commentary says: "The conventional is explained as emptiness, emptiness alone is conventional, because without it, it will not arise, like the made and the impermanent." Because the quote from the Bodhicitta Commentary is cited, you may have the doubt that, according to the Prasangika view, the two truths are of the same essence but different aspects. In general, the made and the impermanent are well-known examples of the same essence but different aspects. The Bodhicitta Commentary is the work of the noble Nagarjuna.

Since this is a commentary on the general Sutra and Tantra teachings of the Koshakara, if it is clearly established that one entity has different negations, then the Prasangika Madhyamaka must also accept it. In this case, regarding the meaning of "because if it does not exist, it will not arise," scholars have different ways of explaining it. Like something made and impermanence, "because if it does not exist, it will not arise." This is said, in the case of Svatantrika, like something made and impermanence, one entity has different negations. In the case of Prasangika, if it does not exist, it will not arise, meaning the two truths, if one does not exist, the other will not arise. Many great scholars have said this. The Omniscient Lama also quoted from the Bodhicitta Commentary, "This is also the realm of emptiness and appearance." The realm of emptiness and appearance means that if it does not exist, it will not arise, not the meaning of one entity. Moreover, immediately after, "If the difference is established as different," quoting the scripture of the Definitive Explanation, this also implies that if it is established as one, it should also be understood. The scriptures say that it has the characteristic of being free from one and different, etc. Therefore, Longchenpa extracted the relevant views from Nagarjuna's Bodhicitta Commentary, in the case of Svatantrika, like something made and impermanence, one entity has different negations. In the case of Prasangika, as many scholars have said, "because if it does not exist, it will not arise," it is only considered that if it does not exist, it will not arise. I think this is not contradictory to the tenets of the Treasury and the distinction between the views of the Prajnaparamita Commentary, etc. Question: 2) According to the Sautrantika school, if something exists, does it necessarily have ultimate truth? Some treatises consider ultimate truth to be indivisible, and some treatises consider the eyes and shapes to be ultimate truth. How are these two statements not contradictory? Answer: 2) If the Sautrantika is not divided into the scriptural followers and the reasoning followers, it is difficult to explain. The Sautrantika of the reasoning followers says: "Whatever ultimate truth can function, that is ultimate truth here. The others are conventional truths, these are the characteristics of self and general." If it is said, "Whatever can function," it seems that there is nothing wrong with it. However, here it is said, "Ultimate truth can function."
