The key point I'm making is this. That is, just as when looking from the summit of Mount Meru, all the small mountains are seen at a glance, this unadulterated view of the Great Perfection transcends the realm of conceptual mind, so there is no dharma that is not included in this unadulterated view. To continuously maintain this state is the view like a mountain king. How should it be maintained? When resting one's own mind in its unadulterated, natural state, a clear, aware, unobstructed, naked, and relaxed state continuously arises. Its essence is the transparent, naked awareness. To rest in that state is the view like a mountain king. However, if one's own mind thinks that it is something beyond the extremes of existence and non-existence, good and bad, and then becomes attached to it and focuses on it, then if attachment arises, it is not the view. As it is said, it is crucial to rest in the view that is without foundation or root. In short, to rest in the great, self-luminous awareness that transcends all mental fabrication, that is free from the antidote of deliberate meditation, and that is vast, free, and unchanging, that is the view like a mountain king. Next is meditation like an ocean king. First, sit in the lotus position, fix your gaze on the space between the eyes, and without creating any grasping at the appearances of the six consciousnesses, rest in a naturally clear state, like an ocean undisturbed by waves. At that time, the self-arisen wisdom of mind itself will naturally manifest, and there is no other meditation than resting in that state. Therefore, Trekchö (Tibetan: ཁྲེགས་ཆོད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्क्षेप, Sanskrit Romanization: utkṣepa, meaning: transcendence) is said to have three characteristics of immovability. The body should be relaxed and still like a mountain king. The reason for this is that if the body is straight, the channels are straight; if the channels are straight, the winds are straight; and if the winds are straight, the mind is easier to tame. Similarly, the senses should be still and clear in their own place, like stars appearing in the ocean. As it says: Like this, the objects seen by the eye, All phenomena, inner and outer, vessel and contents, Although they appear, rest in a state without grasping. The eye is the door through which clear light arises, so the eyes should not move, but should rest openly and without support in the direct sky. The Omniscient Lama said: If you are not meditating, then don't meditate, but once you start meditating, the eyes should not move.

“La che” has been mentioned many times. Therefore, it is necessary to reveal the clear light by gazing at the sky with a relaxed posture without moving the eyes. It is said that if this method of holding is good, then all the qualities of eyes and clairvoyance, etc., will appear in this awareness technique. Similarly, all-knowing lamas and others have said that from Anu downwards, air is drawn in from the two nostrils, and then gradually from below the navel to the area between the genitals, connected to the central channel, and the air is held inside like filling an empty bladder. However, in the system of Dzogchen Atiyoga, it is not like that, but the air needs to be exhaled slowly from the mouth, with the lips barely touching the teeth. This is because thoughts arise sequentially by making air the horse, so it is important to exhale the air. Therefore, if the air is released naturally from the mouth, then in that case, nothing is accomplished, and there is only a hollow feeling, and there is no other meditation to be found anywhere other than staying in that state. Then, it is said, "The mind does not waver, like a cloudless sky." This is because awareness has two aspects, the abiding aspect and the clear aspect. It is necessary to abandon the abiding aspect and cultivate the clear aspect, as said by the all-knowing Longchenpa, Minling Terchen, Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa, Khenpo Ngachung, and others. If the abiding aspect of the mind is cultivated, it is like scum accumulating in a bucket, and clinging to the nature of experience enters and obscures it. If there is recognition and focus on the experience, then it is not Dzogchen. Therefore, if any experience arises, such as emptiness experience or clarity experience, if it is regarded as meaningless and not valued, then it will become clear. This is because the experience of bliss is in accordance with desire, the experience of clarity is in accordance with hatred, and the experience of non-thought is in accordance with ignorance, so one becomes immersed in such a state. If one clings to and becomes immersed in the state of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, then gradually one will fall into the desire realm because of the experience of bliss, fall into the form realm because of the experience of clarity, and fall into the formless realm because of the experience of non-thought. Therefore, it is necessary to abandon the abiding aspect of the mind, and the clear aspect of awareness should be maintained constantly, without forgetting or losing it, in any activity and behavior, such as walking, sitting, etc.
