Here, too, the oral instructions of the secret oral transmission, the Great Perfection of Clear Light, the introduction to the Kadag Trekchö, the oral transmission of the great Khenpo Lama Dampa. These extremely precious and rare profound instructions are recorded as if in a notebook, and I request the three lineages of lamas and the Dharma protectors, the oath-bound guardians, to grant their profound permission. The Lama said: Precious Lama, know! Bless me to recognize the nature of my own mind. Bless me to dispel the delusion of self-grasping. Bless me to arise from within the Clear Light. Having said this, he began the profound instructions. Azom Gyaltsas Rinpoche said that, in general, the disciples of the Great Perfection are of two types: those who have intelligence of the appearance of objects, and those who have intelligence of the self-appearance of awareness, but the latter are extremely rare. Therefore, one must gradually give instructions to those who have intelligence of the appearance of objects. The way to give instructions is to first focus on the three doors of body, speech, and mind. After that, it is very important to thoroughly cut off the root of self-grasping with the three: arising, abiding, and going. After that, like holding the mind on A-kar, etc., is Samatha with signs, and practicing without clarifying the face, hands, etc., while saying "Lama Khyen" is Samatha without signs, so one must pay close attention to these. Likewise, these Ru-shan mentioned in the text of the Guidebook Yeshe Lama are also important, so they must be done in advance. It is important to do the purification of the six realms, etc., every year. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished by reciting the three syllables seven hundred thousand times. In particular, it is very important to cut off the connection between the three: mind, arising, abiding, and going, from within. In general, beings have various dispositions, powers, and inclinations, so there is no absolute certainty, but supreme intelligence is very rare. As Mipham Rinpoche said: Such people are only one or two in a hundred. Everyone cannot realize it in this way. In short, it is very important not to be separated from the virtuous and holy spiritual friend who has obtained the father-inheritance of the Great Perfection's lineage of realization, and to practice continuously. The Guidebook Yeshe Lama, and its related Dharma teachings, the Seven Treasures of the Omniscient Lama, and Jamgon Mipham's Innate Mind, etc., extensively explain the profound essence of the Great Perfection, so these should be

It is also important to observe. In the past, when accomplished lamas and fortunate disciples gathered, they could directly introduce the wisdom through pith instructions, although such situations existed. But nowadays, in this era of speaking about Dzogchen with conceptual mind, it is extremely important to sever elaborations through hearing, they said.

If one cannot ascertain from within, then knowledge remains in darkness. Now, it is necessary to thoroughly establish it from the root and determine it from the depths of one's being. Generally, there is a great difference between the path of mind and the path of wisdom. If thoughts nourish thoughts, that is the path of mind; if thoughts themselves vanish from the root, that is the path of wisdom. When various thoughts arise in the mind and scatter outwards, at that very moment, it is crucial to rest gently in a state of slight understanding and slight recognition. Just as an old person is bewildered by a child's game, if one does not recognize the mind scattering outwards, one will fall into endless confusion. If, upon recognizing scattering, one then counts the number of thoughts, that too is a mistake. As Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa said, "Arising from certainty, the knower vanishes into nowhere." Therefore, the so-called recognition of one's own nature is precisely the thorough determination of the mind's state of being rootless. If one practices this regularly, one will naturally be able to abide, which is extremely important. There is no need to identify what is called meditation. As the past masters have said, there is nothing to meditate on, but there is something to become accustomed to. The Omniscient Lama said, "Even if awareness is recognized, if one does not become accustomed to it, the enemy of thoughts will carry one away like a child on the battlefield." Therefore, even if awareness is recognized, if one cannot become accustomed to it for a long time, the enemy of thoughts will carry one away like a child on the battlefield. So, it is important to always maintain awareness of one's own nature, without forgetting. In short, other than resting in such a view of rootless liberation, whether it is meditation like the ocean of letting go, or conduct like the appearance of letting go, etc., the four types of letting go, in whatever context of view, meditation, and conduct, do not affirm or negate the present awareness, but let it remain in its own state. When it is free from the identification of "what is this," and there is a clear, aware, unobstructed, and transparent state, maintain the continuity of that state. Other than that, there is nothing else to meditate on. Therefore, at all times and in all situations, nakedly reveal the self-born wisdom of mind itself, and meditate on the self-luminous, transparent state. There is nothing else besides that. In this way, the four types of letting go are also, in essence, abiding in the state of one wisdom of awareness.
