Having virtues like an endless ocean, Among the wise who illuminate the teachings today, You alone possess complete wisdom and goodness, Like the beautiful ornament of the fifteenth moon, Lacking a second that is full of excellent light. Then, to briefly recount the biography of a monk who diligently upholds the vows of Pratimoksha, Bodhisattva, and Mantra, untouched even by the slightest transgression: As stated by the Arhat Dharma Merchant: "Just as the root of a tree is the main thing here, The basis for growth and complete sustenance, Likewise, of all the gatherings of the sacred Dharma, The basis and root is said to be discipline." As such, having a deep conviction that the root of all precious qualities is definitely the discipline of renunciation, as mentioned above, he took ordination from the abbot of the assembly, the great holder of Vinaya, Khenchen of Phukang, Gelek Drakpa, who was like a son of the ocean of virtues. He was bestowed with the name "Gelek Chöpel," and gradually took the vows of full ordination. He cherished and protected all the objects of training like the apple of his eye, becoming the best among those who hold the banner of saffron robes. Although the training of a Bodhisattva and the order of secret mantra vows are such that they are never transgressed in all lifetimes, in this life as well, from the supreme Vajra Acharya Kongtrul Pema Drime Lekpai Lodrö, he matured in the mandala of empowerment, the gateway to the nine vehicles of the Great Perfection, and thus received the pure Bodhisattva and Mantra vows. These three vows thus received are like what Gyalwang Longchenpa said: "Acting on cause and effect from within emptiness, Protecting the three vows upon realizing non-action, Striving to benefit beings with objectless compassion." As such, with renunciation based on faith in cause and effect, objectless compassion, and realization of profound emptiness, he did not feel that protecting the vows was a burden, but rather followed the path of liberation of the Buddha, the Sage. To briefly recount the pure conduct of the outer Pratimoksha discipline, in general, the mind of all Buddhas is inseparable from Vajradhara, the Lord of Secrets, and the Khenchen.

Since he was praised by the infallible teachings of the emanation of Śāntarakṣita, although he possessed the conduct of a king ruling arising from the profound tantras, considering the example of the teachings in the age of strife, he followed the biography of Lha-chig Dīpaṃkara. Let alone the offenses of defeat and excess, he did not even give the opportunity for minor offenses. Just like saying the time for lunch, even if carefully examining the minor offenses of the eating sections such as "chak chak phu phu," there was not the slightest violation. The blessings of the necessities of life and utensils were never separated, and after giving the bhikṣu vows to others, it was necessary to be someone who, from becoming a bhikṣu onwards, at least up to the offenses of defeat, had not been tainted from the beginning. Previously, in the practice of Thubga Yizhin Norbu, he said, "On the day after receiving the bhikṣu vows, one should listen to a Vinaya Sutra root," and advised to listen to and contemplate the Vinaya Pitaka, and to pay attention to the precious precepts. Similarly, it is very important to fast immediately after taking the bhikṣu vows. I myself went to Azom on the way, took the bhikṣu vows, and then fasted on the way. It is said that I was like a tough bone to chew. Furthermore, even after giving the śrāmaṇera vows, no matter how many things need to be done, or when time is tight, he would not do the simple thing of just reciting the precepts to get by. There was no time when he did not explain the ten coarse things in detail. Especially later, when he was old and seriously ill, if someone requested to be given the bhikṣu vows, he would not hesitate to be tired, but would accept with great joy. When entrusting things to be done, if the disciples said that you could not bear the fatigue, and asked a friend to help, then the monastic robe should be put on by the abbot. Saying "it should be done this way," he said that rough behavior should not be done, and others must support him from the left and right to stand up. No matter what happened that required relying on the body, he would never do anything simple or indulgent. When going to foreign countries, he embarked on the journey.
