Even when busy with affairs, he would always tell stories along with the history. Furthermore, in that place, there were two Panditas, one old and one young. When discussing with the younger Pandita, who was sixty years old, in English, the Pandita said, 'Both the teacher and the teachings in our land of Sinhala are the sacred Vinaya.' Although there is no Mahayana Buddhism in that place, they acknowledge that the location mentioned in the Lankavatara Sutra is indeed there. In addition, due to the kindness of the Pandita, I was allowed to visit the precious Chinese books kept in the library that are not shown to others. At that time, I recalled that Prince Dharma-dodé had said that he took a lot of gold from his father and brought back many thin and long scriptures from India, and I thought that these were probably like that. Similarly, the Pandita said, 'When I was young, I received a poem from the Tibetan Gendun Chöpel, and one of his poems is also in the textbook at the school where I am.' By a lake in that place, there is a statue of Gendun Chöpel, a golden standing statue, built as a memorial.' And so on, he said many casual remarks. In this way, he circled this earth to the right, placing countless beings who desire liberation in the glory of higher realms and definite goodness, and transforming all beings who see, hear, think, and touch into those with the seed of supreme liberation. Thereafter, in the Earth-Tiger year of the Rabjung (uncertain year, Rabjung calendar calculation), when he was sixty-eight years old, holy beings from China, Nepal, and other places offered him the seats of many monasteries, earnestly requesting him to reside permanently and stay for a long time, but he did not accept. Again, with compassion, he considered the general welfare of the Dharma and beings of the snowy land, and especially those monks residing in monasteries, and thus turned his joyful face towards the snowy land. On the eighth day of the waxing moon of the third Tibetan month, at the Geden Ngedon Shedrub Chöling Monastery, teachers and students gathered, and a grand celebration took place. When the resident students and the entire monastery welcomed him with a grand and elaborate procession, the great Bodhisattva
