It is said that because they were made to wear clothes that they had never seen changed in their entire lives before, they all found it laughable after the meeting. Similarly, Beje said that Sode was the manager of a cooperative group, and sometimes Khenpo Rinpoche would go to sleep in the bedroom of the manager Sode. Sode was sleeping in Khenpo's bedroom, and he asked Khenpo Sode if you two had switched beds. He said, no, tonight I thought everything in Pende's house was mine, so I slept there. He said, it's not like that. Knowledgeable people, please consider these things. Through the simple words of ordinary villagers, the great Vinaya master put the precious teachings of the Vinaya into practice in every way, and blessed all the remaining necessities of life. This true statement of liberation of a wonderful act, how can those who regard seemingly accomplished acts such as holding stones in their hands, binding with iron, manifesting supernatural powers, and prophesying the future as miracles compare to it? Orgyen Tenzin Norbu said, "In general, the measure of whether the Buddha's teachings remain in the world should be based on whether the Vinaya exists or not. Therefore, in this degenerate age, if someone asks me, are you prostrating to a monk who has not committed the seventeen defeats, or to a mantra holder who rides a tiger and flies in the sky like a bird and swims in the water like a fish? I prostrate to the monk without hesitation, because I only have faith in those who uphold the precepts, and not in anyone else." Just like he said. Ema! Wise people, please think carefully. Even in the midst of the terrible storm of the times, for food after noon, an oversized bed, the blessing of objects, and even the slightest faults in the way of wearing clothes, they are very cherished, and the precious precepts are carefully guarded. This pure way of discipline,

Who can remain unmoved and why wouldn't supreme devotion arise? In the harsh changes of time, like a soft flower, Becoming the adornment of the lake of compassionate actions, With special love for the lowly, bestowing the supreme seed of liberation and Perfect enlightenment upon those who have gone astray. In the temporal fortress clouded by dark clouds of misdeeds, The faint starlight of ordinary monks fades away, The three secrets of the stainless and indestructible body, speech, and mind, like a jewel in the sky, The light of the three vows of discipline blazes exceedingly. Like the essence of mercury and the quality of pure gold, Halved by being burned by fierce fire, The quality of pure discipline manifested in time, Think well, how can great reverence not arise? Similarly, he meticulously took and abandoned according to the principles of karmic cause and effect, and performed wondrous altruistic deeds with great compassion. To record just a seed of faith, generally speaking, this Khen Rinpoche never held any official position, title of lama, or title of Khenpo, but from a humble position, wearing ragged monastic robes, carrying an Acho (Tibetan transliteration, referring to a kind of backpack), wandered without attachment to monasteries and secluded places in all directions. Having attended upon the lotus feet of virtuous masters, he spent the first half of his life in the practice of hearing, contemplating, and meditating, as mentioned above. Not to mention accumulating large offerings, he did not even perform the seven feasts, protector rituals, or tormas, etc., so he never wore a hat, nor was he regarded as a high-ranking person, so he was not well regarded by the state, but because his uncle was the Khenpo of the monastery, he, along with the three incarnations of the monastery, the Khenpo, and the herdsmen, etc., occasionally suffered hardship due to labor reform. Once, in the cooperative's livestock breeding herder's shed, he and Beja were assigned by the leader to cut grass. The venerable Lama worked diligently all day without rest, and when he asked to rest a little, he said, "We were assigned to cut grass, are we here to sit?" and did not listen. Sometimes he would pretend to tell stories, or joke about ants carrying heavy objects in holes, saying, "Look, the ants here know how to carry heavy objects," etc., in order to deceive and hopefully get a little rest.
