Compassion that does not aim to attain Buddhahood from Samadhi and is mixed with non-(error); loving-kindness that does not aim at suffering and thinks that Buddhahood can be attained, must have these two biases or two meanings. In terms of classification, there are three types based on the power of intelligence. The first bias of these three, namely compassion, does not differentiate between sentient beings, but from this later bias, first, I want to achieve the state of Buddhahood, which is a great aspiration or a king-like Bodhicitta; I and sentient beings achieve Buddhahood together, I do not go first, sentient beings are not left behind, wanting to achieve the state of Buddhahood together, this is like a shepherd or a supreme wisdom Bodhicitta; I have been practicing this selfish intention since beginningless time, so I am still wandering until now, if I continue to practice this, then I will have to wander until the endless time, so now I go wherever I go. First, I place all sentient beings in the state of perfect Buddhahood, and then it is the same whether I attain the state of Buddhahood or not, thinking like this, I tame this demon of selfish intention with the precious Bodhicitta, hoping that other sentient beings attain the state of Buddhahood, this is an unparalleled or shepherd-like Bodhicitta. These metaphors are easy to understand. Thus, the inferior faculties need thirty-three countless kalpas, the medium needs seven, and the superior needs three countless kalpas to attain Buddhahood. In terms of the division of the grounds, on the path of accumulation and preparation, it is called the Bodhicitta of practice with aspiration, although the characteristics of the conventional Bodhicitta can arise in the continuum, but for the ultimate Bodhicitta, it is only understood or experienced from the general meaning, and not directly realized, so it is called the Bodhicitta of practice with aspiration. From the first to the seventh bhumi, it is called the Bodhicitta of pure intention, because in meditative equipoise, afflictions and intentions cease, and even if subtle self-grasping arises in post-meditation, it will not become an obstacle to the path, so it is the Bodhicitta of pure intention. The three stages of the pure lands are called the Bodhicitta of complete maturation, because the aspirations made earlier on the path of accumulation and preparation are now ready to be practiced, just like the autumn crops are ripe, and other

Because it is the time to accomplish great significance. The so-called mind of enlightenment that has abandoned obscurations in the Buddha-land refers to having abandoned the two obscurations along with their habitual tendencies. Even though the time of the previous vow, "Until the essence of enlightenment is reached," has passed, in reality, the ultimate mind of enlightenment is present in an undiminished manner. And because the initiation of the mind of enlightenment begins for immeasurable sentient beings, it is said to be the mind of enlightenment. Moreover, in the path of accumulation and junction, although there exists a pure conventional mind of enlightenment, the ultimate mind of enlightenment is understood by those on the path of accumulation and experienced by those on the path of junction. Regarding views, there are two types of views: direct perception and inference. In this context, it is a view of inference, so it is the mind of enlightenment that acts through aspiration. The peak of the path of junction is the immediately preceding wisdom, so in the next moment when it arises in the continuum, it connects to the path of seeing. From the path of accumulation to the path of seeing, it takes one like three countless eons. The path of seeing, the first ground of seeing the truth of reality, is called the Joyful Ground, which means realizing wisdom directly for one's own benefit and gaining mastery over samadhi and miraculous powers for the benefit of others. And because one gains mastery over the miraculous power of transforming eons into moments and moments into eons, great benefit for beings will arise, hence it is called Joyful. In this way, the seven impure grounds are those in which the afflictive obscurations are actually abandoned, and the cognitive obscurations are indirectly weakened. Because the co-emergent afflictions are not abandoned below the seventh ground, they are called the seven impure grounds. In the subsequent attainment, even if subtle self-cherishing thoughts arise, because of the purity of their nature or their disappearance, the application does not accomplish self-benefit, so it is pure intention. The so-called three pure grounds refer to the purity of the field and the sphere of activity. Because in the three pure grounds, all remaining afflictive obscurations have been abandoned since the seventh ground, and in these three grounds, all gross and subtle cognitive obscurations are abandoned, at the end of the continuum of the ten grounds, all remaining habitual obscurations are abandoned, which is complete maturation. Among them, in the first moment, the wisdom like a vajra antidote abandons all remaining habitual obscurations, and in the second moment, it transforms into the wisdom of all aspects, which is the mind of enlightenment that has abandoned obscurations. Saying that it is a single moment refers to oneself.
