It is entirely about being cared for with kindness without interruption. Then, one must remember the kindness that has not been done. First, the kindness of giving birth to the body. Second, the kindness of giving life. Third, the kindness of providing resources. Fourth, the kindness of showing the world, and remember these four kindnesses. Then, generate the thought of wanting to repay the kindness. Those sentient beings desire happiness, but they do not know how to cultivate the cause of happiness, which is virtue and the right path. There is no teacher. They do not practice according to the instructions of a virtuous spiritual friend. They do not possess the fruit of happiness, from the happiness of gods and humans in higher realms to all the happiness up to perfect Buddhahood. They do not want suffering, but they are actually harmed by the three sufferings of the three realms of existence, which are the result of suffering. Focusing on those sentient beings who are indirectly harmed by the two, origin and karma and afflictions, cultivate equanimity, considering all beings as mothers. Focusing on those who do not possess happiness, generate loving-kindness, wishing them to possess both the cause and effect of happiness. Focusing on those who possess both the cause and effect of suffering, generate compassion, wishing them to be free from both the cause and effect of suffering. Since we are mother and child, the child should care about the mother's happiness and suffering. If not, it is impossible to be unhappy and jealous when the mother sentient beings each attain happiness. One must look at it with joy, and one must inevitably look at it and cultivate joy. That is, the four immeasurables, together with equanimity and the latter two, should be cultivated with the complete understanding of the mother, remembering the kindness. Therefore, the suffering of those sentient beings is my suffering. For example, if I have a headache, it is the suffering of the gods. If I have a sore throat, it is the suffering of the asuras. If I have a heartache, it is the suffering of humans. If I have a stomachache or pain in my lower body, it is the suffering of sentient beings in the three lower realms. Therefore, suffering should be eliminated, just as the suffering of the feet needs to be eliminated by the hands. Sentient beings want happiness and do not want suffering, but their desires and actions are reversed, like a blind person wandering in an empty wilderness without a friend. Because I have encountered the Mahayana lama and the Dharma, I know the advantages and disadvantages. May they be free from both the cause and effect of suffering. How wonderful it would be if they were free, free.

I will take on a sickness, and I will pray to the Three Jewels for a liberation. If you think like this, you can eliminate the suffering of yourself and others together. If you put it into action, you must eliminate suffering together. That is to say, if sentient beings have a headache, the Bodhisattva's own heart should also feel pain. If you put it into action, for example, when walking in the snow, if you have shoes and others don't, you need to give one shoe to others and wear one shoe yourself, so that you can walk. In this way, both feet experience suffering together, and both feet experience happiness together. Therefore, I must accomplish the happiness of sentient beings, and I must eliminate the suffering of sentient beings. Don't just watch, each experiencing their own happiness. For example, my youngest son experiences the happiness of higher realms, the second son experiences the happiness of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and the eldest son experiences the happiness of the Buddha. I don't need to work hard or be diligent to experience the fruit of sentient beings' happiness, and I cultivate joy in this. I cultivate joy in obtaining wealth and so on. How wonderful it would be if this kind of happiness did not decline or be damaged, but grew more and more. From the bottom of my heart, I cultivate joy in this way. In terms of action, I must also accomplish happiness together in this way. If you expand it in this way, you are practicing the complete Four Immeasurables, and if you condense it, you are practicing the two, loving-kindness and compassion, or just practicing the compassion of wishing to be free from suffering. This is the relative Bodhicitta. The ultimate Bodhicitta is to generate the correct view of emptiness, in which the three spheres appear but are empty of inherent existence. In short, Abu Rinpoche said, "Happy like a magpie, sad like a black crow." It means that we must accomplish happiness together and eliminate suffering together. This equality of self and others, in the stage of the path, must be treated equally in terms of both thought and action, and in the stage of the result, it is the method of realizing the equality of all phenomena of self and others. Therefore, all self and others are equal from the point of view of the emptiness of Dharma nature, equal from the point of view of emptiness appearing, equal from the point of view of relative appearance, and equal from the point of view of the union of appearance and emptiness. This is the meaning of practicing the equality of the Sutra tradition. When the equality of self and others is well practiced, one must practice the Bodhicitta of exchanging self and others. When it comes to exchanging self and others, Abu said, for example, a shepherd
