Grasp. That is to say, because it is not an accumulation of particles, the perception of "one" disappears when something like a stone is first divided into four parts. Then, if something like a quarter piece is divided into four parts, the perception of one part of the quarter piece also disappears. That single part within it is also divided by directions. Because the directional parts become without inherent existence, therefore, the Heart Sutra says, "Form is emptiness." If one does not investigate and analyze in this way, then the appearance of things like houses, from the state of emptiness which is nothing at all, the arising of dependent origination without cessation is what is meant by "Emptiness is form." Appearance eliminates the extreme of existence, emptiness eliminates the extreme of non-existence. Emptiness is not other than form, and form is not other than emptiness. Therefore, cultivate the certainty that emptiness and dependent origination are inseparable, again and again. Even with something like one's own black tent, at first one grasps it as "black tent" as a whole. But, if one separates the door and the pillars, the grasping of "one" disappears, and one grasps "this is the door" and "this is the pillar." If one separates those into ropes, the grasping of door and pillar disappears, and one grasps the ropes. If one divides the rope into strands, the grasping of rope disappears, and one grasps the strands. If one divides the strands into individual hairs, the grasping of strands disappears from the individual hairs. The hairs are also divided by particle directions. Having determined that the directional parts have no inherent existence, by analyzing in this way, form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. Emptiness is not other than form, and form is not other than emptiness, thus, through the reasoning of the fourfold combination of emptiness, one is led to certainty in the union of appearance and emptiness. In this way, investigate from mountains, continents, fences, and gardens to golden mountains, pleasure lakes, Mount Meru, and so on. Then, one needs to investigate one's own internal aggregates. Now, one grasps "this one body of mine" as being singular, permanent, and independent. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate and analyze it. Is my body permanent? If one thinks so, it is not so. Initially, the two seminal fluids of the parents, from the size of one-tenth of a white mustard seed, gradually increase in size, and from the various stages of change, gradually the body is fully formed, then it ages, and changes from child to old person, which is the impermanence of gross change. The subtle impermanence of the nature of reality is that it changes moment by moment, like the flow of a river, so it is impermanent. Is it singular?

If you think it is so, it is not. Just like flesh, skin, blood, pus, bones, mucus, phlegm, tendons, and bones, there are three hundred and sixty bones, which are also the nature of many particles. Furthermore, there are thirty teeth, twenty-one thousand hairs, three hundred trillion body hairs, and so on, which are the nature of many parts. If you think it is independent, it is not. It is controlled by karma and afflictions. The body's illnesses, happiness and suffering, beauty and ugliness, etc., all depend on karma and are controlled by it. Even if the body is perceived as a whole, if it is divided into the five aggregates, the clinging to the body will disappear, and clinging to the aggregates will arise. And the aggregates can also be further divided into shoulders, arms, forearms, and hands, so the clinging to the aggregates will disappear, and clinging to each part will arise. These parts can also be divided into flesh, skin, blood, and bones, etc., so the clinging to the parts will disappear, and clinging to flesh, skin, etc., will arise. Flesh and skin, etc., can also be divided into parts. If the parts are analyzed and found to have no self-nature, then the body is empty, and the body becomes like the sky. Emptiness is not nothingness, but the emptiness of interdependent arising that never ceases is the body. There is no other emptiness apart from the body. There is no other body apart from emptiness. Therefore, appearance eliminates the extreme of existence, that is, appearance without inherent existence; emptiness eliminates the extreme of non-existence, that is, emptiness can appear as interdependent arising. Therefore, emptiness and interdependent arising are inseparable. As Gyalwa Konchok Bang said: Form and sound are by nature free from elaboration, the nature free from elaboration also appears as form and sound, apart from the nature of form and sound there is no freedom from elaboration, apart from freedom from elaboration there is no form and sound. Just like that. Thus, for all phenomena, internal and external, using the wisdom of analysis, that is, turning outward to examine the object, and thereby gaining certainty, that wisdom can be called analytical wisdom or the view of mental discernment. The view of Mahamudra and Dzogchen is through the view of mental discernment first, and then examining the nature of the mind that possesses the object, that is, the self-aware wisdom of each individual, which is meditation that turns inward, and that can be called the view of meditative wisdom. Therefore, the former
