Those are the entities that can perform functions. General characteristics that cannot perform functions are considered conventional truths. The Mind-Only School asserts that all phenomena are categorized into three: the completely imputed, the dependent, and the thoroughly established. The former two, the completely imputed and the dependent, are conventional truths, while the thoroughly established is the ultimate truth. Firstly, the completely imputed is divided into two: the completely imputed that is characterized by cessation, and the completely imputed that is nominally designated. The former includes things like rabbit horns, the child of a barren woman, and flowers in the sky. The latter includes things like pillars and vases. The dependent is divided into pure dependent and impure dependent. The impure dependent is the appearance of mistaken and deluded perceptions to sentient beings, appearing as the environment and its inhabitants. The pure dependent is the appearance of illusions and dreams, which are considered by noble beings to be merely conventional truths in their subsequent attainment. The dependent is the mind and mental factors, which arise due to the power of causes, conditions, and interdependence. The nature of the dependent, the self-knowing and self-illuminating awareness, is the dharmata, the thoroughly established ultimate truth. The thoroughly established is the self-knowing and self-illuminating awareness that knows the nature of the dependent, is free from the dualistic grasping of the completely imputed, and possesses the nature of the three doors of liberation. It is considered to be the self-aware wisdom of each individual object. The emptiness of the two grasped and grasper of the completely imputed, in the nature of the dependent, is considered to be the element of phenomena or the dharmata, the thoroughly established. The Madhyamaka School is divided into the Svatantrika and Prasangika schools. The former emphasizes the nominal designations that include subsequent acceptance, and its view of the ultimate is in accordance with the Prasangika, which is non-nominal. The Prasangika, from the beginning, establishes the realm of peace that is free from elaboration, like the wisdom of the equipoise of the three noble ones, as being free from all acceptance. Therefore, the difference between the Prasangika and Svatantrika is well-known in the noble land of India. The terms "self-empty" and "other-empty" were coined by Tibetan lamas and were not well-known in India. Therefore, the common Madhyamaka of the scriptures is the collection of Madhyamaka reasoning of the noble Nagarjuna, which explains emptiness according to the intention of the Buddha's mother and the seventeen sons. As explained according to the hidden meaning of the path's realization, it is the realization of Maitreya.

are ornaments. Mainly, the collections of the noble lineage and Āryadeva's Four Hundred Verses on the Middle Way, etc., should not be disputed as belonging to either the consequentialist or the autonomist school. First, "Middle Way" refers to the ultimate common ground of the consequentialist and autonomist schools, which is the basis for understanding what view to adopt. The Brahmin teacher Buddhapālita explained the fundamental view as consequentialism, without using the terms self-nature and truth. The Kshatriya teacher Bhāviveka explained this view as autonomism, arguing that it is unreasonable not to use the terms self-nature and truth, because it is like saying there is no eye when there is one. Therefore, he asserted that the eye does not exist by its own nature, does not exist in truth, and does not exist ultimately. Autonomists are divided into higher and lower schools. Teachers like Śrīgupta and others assert that the ultimate truth, like an illusion, is also established by reasoning as an illusion. The higher ones are Jñānagarbha, Śāntarakṣita, and Kamalaśīla, known as the three eastern abbots of the autonomist school, so we must follow their views. Their system of the two truths is: From the two truths, Although appearances are similar, yet by function and, By the power of being able or unable, A distinction is made between the correct and the incorrect, Thus, the conventional is distinguished. As it is said, the conventional truth does not deceive the mind from the perspective of the object's own characteristics. For example, fire burns and water moistens, these actions are not deceptive. All self-characterized phenomena that do not deceive from the object's own perspective and can perform functions are the correct conventional truth. Appearances that cannot perform functions, such as the appearance of two moons and a butter lamp painted in a picture, are considered false conventional truths that cannot perform functions. The nominal ultimate truth is that all phenomena from form to omniscience are devoid of the nature of one and many, so form is emptiness. Thus, appearance dispels the extreme of existence, and emptiness is form, so emptiness is not nothing, but the unceasing appearance of dependent arising, thus emptiness dispels the extreme of non-existence. Emptiness is not different from form, and form is not different from emptiness. Thus, by establishing the nature of emptiness and dependent arising as inseparable, the initial practitioners are gradually led to negate the four extremes and simultaneously guided to certainty.
