Should be remembered. Then, giving is the antidote to stinginess. Regarding the objects of giving, such as food, if there are both good and bad, giving the bad ones violates the precepts of giving. Therefore, regardless of the size of the object, one should give the good object with a pure intention. To do this, put the object within your means into a container without cracks, and think that although I have nothing better to give than this now, in the future I must give my body, possessions, and merits to all sentient beings, starting with this beggar. In this way, adjust the motivation of a mother loving her child, give with a smile and rubbing your hands together. If someone comes to beg again, do not be angry, and if you have it, give according to your ability. If you do not have it, explain it well with tactful words. Then, like a calf following its mother, dedicate the cause and effect of that giving for the benefit of all sentient beings, including the giver and receiver, and make aspirations and prayers. Regarding offerings, take only the image of the Buddha as the object of focus, and visualize the refuge as vast as the ocean appearing vividly. The object of offering is like a single butter lamp. The way of offering should be complete with the three aspects of preparation, main practice, and conclusion. In the main practice, the object to whom you are giving, the object of giving, and the purpose of giving, these three circles should be led to the understanding of emptiness, which is appearance but without inherent existence. All of these should be offered without expecting rewards in this life or retribution in future lives. You should express gratitude with loving-kindness and compassion, using sweet words. Giving as an antidote to stinginess, and practicing tangible giving without expecting rewards or retribution, is the practice during the stage of accumulation. Great giving is the stage of preparation, and extremely great giving is the stage of seeing. Beginners should give their body in thought, and protect it in action. In terms of possessions, you should give according to your means, as an antidote to stinginess. Merit should be given together with its results. The boundary of Dharma giving is from the first ground onwards, when it can truly benefit sentient beings. Before that, it is not possible to truly benefit sentient beings, so you should go to the top of high mountains, etc., adjust your pure motivation, and recite "Namo Arya Dhamma (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Homage to the Noble Dharma)" etc.
