Are the six perfections. That is, acting without separating means and wisdom. If means are grasped by great compassion and wisdom of emptiness, means can suppress the extreme of peace, and wisdom can suppress the extreme of existence. Therefore, the individuals who study the six perfections, all those who have entered the path of faith, their six perfections are called imputed perfections. Because at that time, although one cannot actually give away one's head and limbs, one gives with intention and protects with action. Understanding emptiness as the general meaning of emptiness, because there is no actual seeing, at that time, apart from giving away one's head etc. from the mind and protecting with action, if one actually gives away, it will become a cause of downfall. Therefore, because one practices with faith in generosity etc. and wisdom, it is an imputed perfection. The perfection of reality is: seeing the truth of suchness on the path of seeing, seeing directly with wisdom, and seeing suchness, realizing the ultimate reality, etc., are all the same meaning, different names. From the time of realizing the object to be realized on the path of seeing until the end of the ten bhumis, in equipoise free from elaboration and in post-meditation, the ten perfections must be perfected. Moreover, on the first bhumi, one can actually give away one's head and limbs etc., because it dawns as the emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects, therefore, in the manner of equipoise without appearance and the eight similes of illusion in post-meditation, one perfects the perfections. Because at that time, generosity etc. are not merely empty movements, but although the essence is empty, in terms of appearance, they appear as generosity and discipline etc., they are empty actions, empty movements, dawning as the emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects. Therefore, from the temporary ten bhumis of the result to the complete Buddhahood of the result, therefore, all the perfections from the first bhumi to the tenth bhumi are real, they are the union of the two accumulations, equipoise without appearance, and post-meditation like the play of illusion, therefore, they are the perfections of reality. Those six perfections, by learning through the three paths of the long path, the near path, and the quick path, one must bring the three, completion, maturation, and purification, to the ultimate end. Through the door of the six perfections, one completely perfects the two accumulations like an ocean.

Practice, using the six perfections to establish sentient beings on the path to the three enlightenments, maturing sentient beings like an ocean, and relying on the six perfections to purify lands like an ocean. Lands need to be purified in two ways: pure and impure. That is, according to one's own wishes, with this root of virtue of the six perfections, may I in the future be born in the pure and impure lands that I wish to purify. Purify with virtue as the cause and aspiration as the condition. Pure lands are like the land of Manjushri and the land of Sukhavati, and impure lands are like the land of our teacher. In such six perfections, a bodhisattva who is a beginner must repeatedly practice in thought that all actions, such as going, staying, moving, and acting, do not go beyond the scope of generosity and so on. In practice, one must gradually learn from small generosity according to one's ability. In particular, for those who are stingy, they need to transfer things from left to right, and generate the mind of giving. Gradually get used to it, and then actually give leaves, vegetables, and other things. Finally, get used to giving heads, eyes, hands, and feet. From the first to the tenth bhumi, the Bodhisattva mainly practices the six perfections through practice, among thought and action. Beginners should focus on views, because attachment to self and what belongs to self binds them to existence. Therefore, the antidote is the three trainings of the path, and the main path is the wisdom that realizes the truth of the path and selflessness. In the five aggregates, one should examine the self as one or different, and know that the self has no nature. And examine the five aggregates as the nature of dust and moment, and determine that the five aggregates have no nature, and one needs to focus on the analytical meditation of examining the selflessness of phenomena and person. The Path of Seeing realizes reality with direct vision, and cultivates it in the Path of Meditation, so the view is the main thing at the time of the beginner. Such six perfections have two aspects: essence and difference. Here is the practice.

The essence is to meditate, and the distinctions are to contemplate during the breaks. In this regard, first distinguish between the session and the breaks. The preliminaries for the session are the same. When making requests, think that the perfections of generosity, etc., in the mindstream of the guru, whatever you are meditating on, its qualities arise in your own mindstream, and blend your mind and heart, keeping your mind calmly in its place. The main practice is to cultivate the mind of giving. The objects to be given are: the body, resources, and all the virtues accumulated and possessed in the three times. Among them, first, recognize the mother, remember her kindness, and generate the thought of wanting to repay her kindness. From this day on, from this span of body, square, until the ultimate attainment of Buddhahood, the body, resources, and all roots of virtue, all gathered together, combined, and given to mother sentient beings, as a condition for accomplishing both temporary and ultimate happiness, and as a condition for eliminating all suffering. It is giving, it is offering, it is dedicating. To whom is it given? To all sentient beings. What is given? The body, resources, and roots of virtue, etc. For what purpose is it given? For the sake of attaining temporary higher realms and ultimate Buddhahood. How is it given? It is given without expecting rewards in this life or fruition in future lives. For beatings, etc., of the body, evil thoughts, harsh actions, all connections related to the three poisons of evil attachment, hatred, and ignorance, and all connections related to good faith, such as faith and pure perception, plant meaningful aspirations for all connections. During sessions, etc., based on thought, repeatedly cultivate the mind of giving. When putting the practice into action during breaks, first, start with small actions and gradually increase them. Among them, both offerings and generosity are the perfection of generosity. First, taking material objects as an example, when you see a beggar coming, the Bodhisattva is very happy, and when you hear the beggar calling and saying, "Give me something," do not be unhappy, but agree to give the object to be given. At that time, stinginess will arise, so remember the faults of stinginess. A stingy person will be reborn in the realm of pretas. Even if they are reborn as humans, they will be reborn as poor.
