From now on, I will not seek other hopes and refuges. I will practice you alone, rely on you alone, and depend on you alone. With this attitude of complete entrustment, I will recite the refuge vows, especially taking refuge with the teacher as a companion on the path. First, call upon the Teacher, the Bhagavan Buddha Shakyamuni, and say: "From this month, this day, this hour of this year, until I attain the ultimate essence of enlightenment, you are my teacher. I will not rely on any other teacher besides you." Then, call upon the Teacher, the Bhagavan Buddha Shakyamuni, and say: "The sacred Dharma spoken by you, the Dharma possessing the nature of scripture and realization, I promise to take it as the path to liberation and enlightenment from this day until I attain the ultimate enlightenment. I will not rely on other wrong paths or the paths of outsiders besides the sacred Dharma." Then, call upon the Teacher, the Bhagavan Buddha Shakyamuni, and say: "The sacred Dharma spoken by you, the Dharma upheld through the two wheels of teaching and practice, the guides, the noble Sangha, I promise to take them as friends on the path. I will not rely on worldly allies, companions in idle talk, or helpers in creating evil besides them." After that, offering to the Lama and so on is easy to understand. Then, when it is time to conclude a session, red light radiates from the bodies of all the deities of the refuge field, striking all sentient beings, self and others, and from the two aspects of abandonment and realization, it purifies all the obscurations of afflictions, knowledge, and habitual tendencies. In the realm of sentient beings, the seed or nature of the Sugata-garbha that is present is transformed, and wisdom is manifested. Everything is like flocks of birds and so on. Finally, the Lama is also gradually absorbed from the seat under his feet and the top of his head, dissolving into the heart, and remains in the state of disappearance. This is the refuge of the meaning of reality. Meditate on observation and abiding alternately in this way. Then, when another thought arises again, in the post-meditation state, visualize the field of merit and so on as before, and perform pure dedication and aspiration with "By this virtue" and so on. Then, in all activities between sessions, such as eating, sleeping, walking, and sitting, clearly visualize the refuge field and so on. Again, when concluding a session, first exhale outwards, blow your nose, wipe your face, and make sure all outer and inner doors are closed well.

End of section. In short, do everything that needs to be done, and make it so that you don't have to run away from the middle of the section again. After that, if you don't cut off all the distracting thoughts in between sections, then the next section cannot be completed well. Now, from this section onwards, I will never let this mind be dominated by disturbing delusions, make such a vow, and also make a vow to abandon such thoughts. After that, the mind does not follow the past, does not welcome the future, and the present thoughts do not continue, but remain as they are. This is like dispelling obstacles and meditating on the protective circle during the generation and completion stages. After that, the body posture and so on are the same. After that, after that section, check whether you have the previous vow or not. If you have the vow and only virtuous thoughts arise, then the mind will be happy, and this is its antidote. Oh, are you the "appearance" that is deluded by merit? Are you really that good? I will observe in the next section, thus subduing arrogance. If there is no vow and the mind is dominated by delusions, and now the mind thinks that I can't do anything anymore, and the mind feels depressed, oh, what do you have to be depressed about? If you were without delusion from the beginning, then why haven't you become a Buddha by now? Now, even if you have been dominated by delusions, I will make a vow not to let the mind be dominated by disturbing delusions in the next section, and thus uplift the spirit. That is to say, if a section is not finished, then it is not finished, but once it is finished, all three, the preliminary, the main part, and the concluding part, must be complete. After that, when getting up in the morning, when getting up with the pride of one's own yidam deity, visualize that the entire sky and space are awakened by the sound of cymbals and bells, and the self-sound of A (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, literal meaning: A) li (Tibetan: ལི, Devanagari: लि, Romanized Sanskrit: li, literal meaning: li) ka li by the assembly of heroes and heroines. The preliminaries of the section are the same. After that, regarding the teachings, in short, Dharma is non-harm, therefore, the three, the Hearer Vehicle, the Bodhisattva Vehicle, and the Mantra Vehicle, must abandon the harm to others with its roots. Because it is not said that harmful actions are necessary, therefore, as long as one is a Buddhist, one must abandon harming sentient beings. The vows of individual liberation must also arise from here. That is to say, both the intention and the action of harming sentient beings must be abandoned. In the system of Mantra, the lama is the embodiment of all objects of refuge.
